Peter Robbins, the original voice actor for Charlie Brown in the first Peanuts animated television specials, has been sentenced to one year in jail for threatening a former girlfriend and stalking her plastic surgeon. Robbins has been in jail since his arrest in January, and pleaded guilty to the charges against him in April. He was ordered to pay the plastic surgeon $15,082 in restitution and avoid contacting her for 10 years. After sentencing, Robbins was released to a residential drug treatment center for treatment of alcoholism and addiction to prescription medications.

During sentencing, Superior Court Judge Dwayne Moring told Robbins, “Don’t be a blockhead,” since violating the terms of his probation could lead to a four-year stint in jail.
