Little late to the party on this one. Just saw it - really, really liked it. Much more than I thought I would.
One question - What's the deal with Reverse Flash/Professor Zoom? I don't know this character.
He sure hated Flash, and his feelings seemed to go beyond the usual 'I'm a villain...
Well that was a lot of fun. Great finish.
I will miss this show; looking forward to the reboot or whatever it is.
I want 48 episodes of the Cap and Spidey show. Loved their (sadly limited) interactions over the course of the show.
Pretty good - did anyone else think that animation was bit rougher and looser than season one? Wasp and Sue had giant man-hands.
"Wasp threat level: Low." Well, at least the writers acknowledge her uselessness.
Wow. Just awful. If you want to turn Spider-Man into a pure comedy, instead of the mix of comedy and drama the best Spidey stories have always been, then you need to make it funny. About 1 in 5 of the gags landed. The rest was painful.
I laughed harder at the Marvel Mash-Ups. "All hail the...
The show is being used to promote the Avengers movie - to introduce young viewers to these characters so that they're eager to see them on the silver screen. It's why Ant-Man, Wasp, and the Black Panther are nowhere to be found on the front cover. Hollywood Heroes only!
That's Disney's purpose...
Do NOT waste your time on the 'Unmasked' trivia track thing. It's nothing any Marvel fan doesn't already know.
Did you know that Iron Man's suit gives him the power of flight? Or that Hulk gets stronger as he gets angrier? These are just a couple of the fascinating tidbits that await you!
I...
I didn't care for it. I found the strip club scenes to be sleazy and distasteful - nothing that belonged in a superhero cartoon.
I realize that sensuality has always been a part of the Catwoman character, but this was too overt. It's a shame, because the action that followed was quite good...
Where did the martian chick come from? I though J'ohn was the last of his kind? And it sounds like they're going to make her 'cute', which is a shame. J'ohn was cool because he was a bit of an oddball.
These names - KId Flash, Aqualad - ug. No good superhero name involves the word 'lad'. Sorry...
Just watched the new one and rewatched the other three. They're all great. All four. I want more more more. The length is great for the stories they'll telling.
For what's it worth, I'd love to see an Adam Strange one. The Atom would make a cool one too.
Maybe they're not showing Nick in WW2 because the army wasn't integrated then. I know, I know - who needs realism when you've got frost giants and super-soldier serum? Granted.
Still, Ultimate Nick Fury (more or less the official one these days) differs from Original Nick in that regard.
I dug it.
Wonder Man was just the sort of lame character that made me pass Avengers comics by for X-Men comics back in the day, but this was handled well. Glad he never actually went by 'Wonder Man', and I'm also glad he burned through that awful red and green get-up for a pure purple energy...
It was great seeing Cap in action - well done there. I hope they keep dealing with the 'man-out-of-his-time' thing.
The dough monsters were a little silly for me - and they went to the well of 'Look! Our heroes are covered in goop! How humorous!' too often.
I didn't read many Avengers...
Maybe Cap and Tony should co-lead. Cap is a man completely out of his time - he has missed out on 65 years of cultural, historical, and technological development.
He's a natural field commander - and maybe he should be in charge of strategy against the villains, but when it comes to running...
Not much to add, other than I'm loving it too. I think Fury's design is a bit too youthful, even with the gray hair, and the intro song's a bit cheesy, but those are nit-picks.
It's a show steeped in Marvel lore, and I love all the name drops and easter eggs. 'Vigilante punishes again' indeed...
