IIRC, RKO's distribution in the late 50's was actually handled by Universal-International. The RKO backlog of movies was sold to the C & C Cola company, and ended up in the hands of United Artists. That's how Turner ended up with them.

U.M.&M. T.V. Corp got the ones up to at least the Little Audrey cartoon "Goofy Goofy Gander". The U.M.&M. sale did include the cartoons with the soon to be Harvey...
Paramount/Viacom, thought having reacquired the U.M.&M./NTA library, does not have video rights to the Republic Pictures/NTA/U.M.&M library. The video rights are controlled by Artisan for a year or two.
