Actually, I'm pretty sure whatever live-action they planned was to bring the cost down. Live-action is considerably less expensive than animation.
Live-action yes. CGI no. There was talk of live-action, but not of CGI. We're still not sure exactly in what way they were/are planning to use...
It was just pencil tests of the snowman. He looks pretty much the same as he does now. Nothing awe-inspiring really. Most of the other stuff they showed was showing off how they dealt with the snow and clothes in CG.
Well, I don't know if there were pencil tests done for one of the previous versions of Snow Queen. But I did see pencil tests done for Frozen at SIGGRAPH. But they were done with CG in mind for the sake of conceptualizing.
I totally agree with Nostalgia Critic. I've been saying what he was saying from the beginning. My only complaints are: 1) Bugs is too boring. I like the fact that he doesn't always win, but he doesn't do much anymore either. 2) Pacing is too slow. They need to speed things up or have two...

I meant actual Indians not Native Americans.
I just don't see how Speedy is being stereotyped. Projected feelings? Sadly, we're just not used to see a lot of Hispanic characters in cartoons, so maybe that's just why it feels out of place to you. It doesn't to me. I'm grateful to the DC animated...
It's a self-fulfilling prophecy. People assume that all animated cartoons have to only appeal to children unless they're The Simpsons or Family Guy. But they don't see the changing demograps that Nickelodeon sees (Kora). They could have also tried putting on ABC. Also, Disney doesn't realize...
