Absolutely! It's ridiculous to even believe GL: FF cost 78 million. Why would they waste so much money on something that isn't all that well known, and isn't to going to sell like hotcakes?

And yet WB called GL: FF a failure. Go figure!

It’s still arguable; I didn't say the movie didn't flopped, did I? Audiences didn’t care for Reynolds performance, because they didn’t care for the movie itself. If another actor (like Nathan Fillion) had been cast with the same script the film would have still flopped regardless

That’s arguable. I thought he was fine and plenty of people have defended him.

What could DC have done with the GL movie? Nothing. They didn’t even make it. It’s all WB’s fault.

Scratch off Amethyst and Plastic Man and you’d be correct. No way are those b level characters getting their shows, especially without a movie already released. As for the HUB, I’d love for that to happen but WB doesn’t seem to have any interest.

To be fair they got good ratings for their time slots, CN just wanted them dead anyway.

Basically it seems to be a WB mandatory that all of these DC animated films have Batman or Superman centered stories, even the Justice League movies. Sucks I know. It wouldn’t surprise me at all if the Flashpoint movie was all about Batman (or had a Batman-centered story).
