Amazing! This episode felt like a movie... the art direction, color scheme, story boarding, and set pieces were above any thing else currently being produced in American animation TV. This ep took things to another level... Series on a whole- Pros: great main characters, fights, art...

It might pull a "Six Sense" and have little drop off each week as word of mouth spreads and more and people discover it's the best picture of the summer. Most films' drop off's are over 50%... I see it staying around the 40 mil range next weekend.

how about a series involving the Sith Wars? What i really want to see is a telling of how yoda became a jedi... basically his story, that would be cool. Didn't he grow up during the Sith Wars?

Why isn't animation in the USA taken seriously? For one, how many animated shows and films are actually... ummm... serious? Almost all are comedies, and moments of seriousness are few and far between. I think it has more to do with genre than anything else. Look at comics, some awesome books...

It's my understanding that a villain isn't actually truly evil until he or she actually kills someone. Until then they're just all talk. Did anyone actually kill someone in the 80's?

Free for All started as a comic strip created by Brett Merhar. Although I've never actually seen one of the strips myself, or heard of them. I guess showtime took notice and picked up the series for like 7 episodes, it didn't do so well and they canned it back in 2003. A quote from amazon.com...
