A lot of people assume Nick reduce amount of live action content is due to Quiet on Set, which is...mostly true, but that's one part of a much larger problem. I think it's more of a death of a thousand cuts situation.
It's not just Quiet on Set, there's also COVID, the writers and actors...
I'm so glad that the new Cartoon Cartoons are now finally getting released after years of sat on them for so long.
However, some of the shorts that I've seen so far, weren't really my cup of tea. I don't know. Maybe because I'm burned out of the same style and aesthetics that CN used since the...
Indeed. Then again, WB always been known to do crappy stuff like this towards their own library for decades, but that's a different story for another day.
Yeah, I do understand what you mean.
I agree, but WB dropped the ball on HBO Max since Day 1. They already had Boomerang app at the time. They could put a lot of kids content over there, but they didn't. HBO Max could've been a great alternative to Disney Plus if they played their cards right, instead they barely promote them...
Exactly. It may sound like I'm giving Zaslav way too much credit (trust me, I'm not), but at least he recognized that CN library is very valuable and a lot of people want to see it and make it accessible by not putting it under an expensive subscription paywall.
I've been saying this since 2024...
The reason why I said that is because there's no way you can bring them back since the creators already moved on. Plus, Cartoon Network Studios is now under Warner Bros Animation, so don't expect them to make a comeback anytime soon.
Seriously, if it wasn't for the fact that AT&T screwed up the...
No. I would love for Infinity Train and Close Enough to come back, but it's not going to happen anytime soon. The damage has been done.
Plus, even if that were to be the case, it wouldn't fit for Tubi at all. Hulu and Netflix are much better options.
Yes, because HBO Max at least have a bigger...
I don't know how I feel about it since animation is a very expensive process and hosting them on Tubi would cost them a pretty penny to them compared to archival content. Personally, I don't want Tubi to become the next HBO Max. Let's just be grateful for what we have.
Indeed. Back when HBO Max first came out, they do have the majority of their kids shows, but most of them didn't even make it.
Now, Tubi has almost EVERYTHING, and it's looking 10x better than HBO Max.
OH MY GOD! THANK YOU, TUBI! THANK YOU! This is so incredible!
Finally, after almost 4 years of being removed off of HBO Max, Tubi has become a new home for Classic Cartoon Network and Warner Bros Animation shows!
At first, when I heard about it through Reddit, I was a bit skeptical because I...
I knew Knights of Guinivere is getting greenlight because of how successful the pilot was and people cannot get enough of it.
Still, very excited because I really like Guinivere.
Even though it sucks that Matt (and Rebecca)'s film got cancelled because of stupid reasons, but I'm glad Matt's cooking with a new indie project. Good luck on him.;)
