Shallowest review ever. I saw it coming though, after those couple of disc reviews where all he did was complain about how little action the show had.

I'm glad that Hunter x Hunter manga is licensed. Hopefully this will open the door for the anime to finally get licensed. I really, really, really wanna ditch the fansubs and get the show on DVD!

Hah, another digicel animation hater I see. I'm one of those, as well. However, I think Gainax did a great job at capturing some of the "effects" film had that take extra attention to detail with digicel animation. Unless you're just talking about the 3D Dix-Neuf, which I will agree was out...

It's definitely a new take on the Gunbuster universe. The original, being that Hideaki Anno is a huge sci-fi junkie, was big in the portrayal of realism. Because of that, it made the ending to the series one of the most, if not the most, spectacular endings I have ever witnessed in anime...

It'll probably be a few months before we hear anything. I hope they do animate more even though the current arc in the manga isn't quite as good as the others (I like it more than G.I. though).

I would take out everything before the arc currently airing on Toonami. I found it incredibly uninteresting (except for the main fight between Yusuke and Toguro in the dark tournament). I find the current arc more to my liking.

If you were Toei and had such a ridiculously huge hit on your hands such as DragonBall Z that was rolling in the dough like nobody's business, would you be so quick to end it? =P Of course, I agree with you that the DragonBall franchise could have ended on a MUCH better note had it ended...
