No, Clark's part in the story just jumped from sitting at home with Lois one week, to getting kidnapped the next. All Luthor wanted to know was whether or not Clark knew who Supernova was. That kidnapping, injecting, and brief interrogation couldn't have taken more than 2 hours out of Clark's day.

I wouldn't say "in forever," but it's definitely a good read. The decision to stretch the arc out to 12 parts allows Brubaker to better explore the characters. I love it. He even writes a good Rachel Summers (who I refuse to call Grey).

I agree on both accounts. Although we haven't seen hide nor hair of Batwoman in any other titles, so I'm assuming she's a 52-exclusive gimmick.
