As a fan of "The Powerpuff Girls," I saw the movie in theaters during the very first showing, and thoroughly enjoyed it. I also bought it on DVD, although I'm disappointed that a widescreen version was not released here in the states.
I would vote for "other" if that option were there. My favorite Rob Paulsen ones are two of The Rowdyruff Boys, Boomer and Brick. However, of all the options that are there, I would vote for Pinky.
Does anyone know what the first movie was that had full-length closing credits? I am guessing that it must have been a movie from the 1970's, such as the original "Star Wars" movie.
Being a fan of the TV series, I thoroughly enjoyed the movie. It is one of the few movies that I am interested in having on DVD. Although it came out in full screen only here in the states, I still bought it on DVD. In The United Kingdom and Australia, the movie came out in widescreen. I hope to...
I was very surprised to learn of the news about Bob Denver. I was guessing that Russell Johnson would be the next one to go.
"Gilligan's Island" has always been one of my favorite sitcoms, and, in fact, have all three seasons on DVD. I also bought two DVDs each of "Rescue from Gilligan's...
My favorite Howard Morris role was Beetle Bailey in the early 1960's cartoons. Howard Morris provided the same voice for Jughead in the "Archie" cartoons several years later. In addition to Beetle Bailey, he did several other voices in that series as well: General Halftrack; Chaplain Stainglass...
One of the biggest shark jumpers of them all is "Sesame Street." It jumped the shark in so many different ways. One major jump that took place was when they changed the format somewhere in the later 1990's. This was after I stopped watching the show, though.
I'm surprised that the third season is coming out on DVD this soon. I was expecting it to be released early next year. I'll be on the lookout for this box set starting July 26.
My favorite "Sesame Street" Muppets are Harvey Kneeslapper and The Count. The former because I always thought he was funny, and the latter because he was always, and still is, fascinated with numbers like I was.
"The Powerpuff Girls" - I find the title characters very cute. They are also well-suited to merchandise, such as the plush toys.
Looney Tunes and Merrie Melodies - These cartoons are funny and well-animated. The music in them is good, too.
Pink Panther and other DePatie-Freleng series - Like...
Yes, I hope that it is true that there will be a Pink Panther cartoon box set out here in the states. I am hoping that whatever laugh tracks there are will be removed. It would also be nice to see the other theatrical DePatie-Freleng series (The Inspector; Roland and Rattfink; The Ant and the...
Artie Shaw died today (December 30) at age 94. He is one of my all-time favorite recording artists. I have an extensive collection of his recordings.
In addition to Artie Shaw, I also have extensive collections of recordings from such artists as Benny Goodman and Glenn Miller, and many other...
Because "Gilligan's Island" is one of my favorite sitcoms, I'll definitely buy this set, along with "Looney Tunes Golden Collection Volume 2." I have the first box set of both series.
