I'm not sure how underrated it is, but Cousin Skeeter used to be a favorite of mine when I was growing up. Also, 6teen doesn't seem to get a lot of love. For what it was, that was a great series.
Yeah, I waited off way too long to get Snartle. I don't think I'll be able to get him now until my entire team is around level 90.
On the bright side of things, I'm only one Yo-kai away from unlocking Komashura. :)
I'm kind of surprised that a Yo-Kai Watch thread hasn't been made already. I pre-ordered the game and have been playing it pretty much nonstop since I received it in the mail. Sounds like the game has been selling pretty well in the U.S., too.
Which Yo-kai is your favorite? I love Shogunyan...
Thoughts? Considering Level-5 already has a dubbed version of the preview, I imagine the anime will make its way to the United States sooner than later.
I never saw the originals, but I remember the dubbed versions of Duel Masters and Tokyo Pig being quite terrible. I enjoyed both series as a kid, but looking back, they're borderline unwatchable.
I really hope this meets everyone's expectations. I have been waiting for the "Jungle Movie" for years. Never would I have thought that it would actually see the light of day.
I managed to finish David Lipsky's Although Of Course You End Up Becoming Yourself: A Road Trip with David Foster Wallace yesterday at work. One of the best books I've read in recent memory.
Tomorrow, I'm going to start Blood Meridian by Cormac McCarthy. :)
Just watched the first two episodes. I don't think I have wanted an anime series to be dubbed more than this one. Watching it with subs is fine, but my childhood memories associated with Digimon coincide with the English voice actors.
I had no idea this series came out already. For whatever reason, I thought the premiere was set for December. Very much looking forward to binge watching the first movie when I get home from work in a few hours.
Goldust returned last night? You're the first person I heard that from, MDawg.
I'm not a big fan of Roman Reigns, but I'd honestly take him as champ over Sheamus any day of the week. I fully expect Reigns to defeat Sheamus for the strap at the upcoming PPV.
My favorite wrestler of all-time and arguably one of the greatest wrestlers to ever grace a squared circle, Eddie Guerrero, passed away 10 years ago today.
Let this serve as a thread to remember Eddie's life, career, and accomplishments.
I would bet money on King K. Rool being announced during next month's Smash-centric Nintendo Direct next month. Personally, I would love to see either Banjo-Kazooie or Skull Kid join the fight, though.
I pre-ordered Yo-Kai Watch and have been playing it for a few hours a day since I first received it in the mail. I definitely plan on picking up Pokémon Super Mystery Dungeon once that comes out, too.
Saga returns from hiatus tomorrow with issue #25, and I couldn't be more excited.
Not to mention, Fiona Staples created an amazing wraparound cover for the issue. Check it out:
