Rand

For the curious, the picture isn't really what Rand looks like in real life. Instead, it's an image of Black Mage from 8-Bit Theater (a webcomic by Brian Clevinger at http://www.nuklearpower.com/comic/ ), a character that Rand particularly relates to at times (we'll just say... 92% of the time... maybe 95%). |||
The name 'Rand' comes from Robert Jordan's Wheel of Time series, and has for all intents and purposes proved to be an apt alias for the demon terrorizing the online Toon Zone community with his line up for information, deadlines to be met, and general grumpiness. |||
Rand has worked as an online Administrator since 1997, volunteering to Webmaster for an online role-playing game called the X-Mansion (X-MenRPG on WBS), moving on to becoming Staff and finally Host. His efforts were rewarded and recognized when an exclusively online role-playing chat site was set up due to one of his late night musing with a few of the founders. After his system for role-playing was adopted by many other online RPGs, Rand has then moved on to other things, which brings us to Toon Zone, a place where all the training beforehand is being implemented. His mission? Uh. To help Harley out. Yeah, that's it... |||
In his quieter moments, Rand admits to enjoying pop music of all kinds, watching the worst sort of Hollywood manipulative drivel, as well as reading (high) Fantasy and comics from Marvel, DC, CrossGen and Top Cow.
