They Make Roxy Rocket into a Evil Rocketeer Love it.
Pretty sure you're right but it also reminds me A LOT of the Chubala cult from the first story of Legends of the Dark Knight. Was that a quick shot of Mad Monk?!
.
? Yeah, that's what I was thinking too. She looks Poison Ivy-ish, but those earrings are making me think of Thorn. This is going to be an out of the box suggestion, but I wonder if the Poison Ivy lookalike isn't Poison Ivy but Thorn of Rose and Thorn?
Read my mind. It was bothering me and I finally remembered her name. Glad it wasn't just me!This is going to be an out of the box suggestion, but I wonder if the Poison Ivy lookalike isn't Poison Ivy but Thorn of Rose and Thorn?
Maybe the Carrie/Grey Ghost episode is also the Mad Hatter episodeWith the question of how many kids are safer with Batman around the scene at 1:21 with the monks or cult or whatever, reminded me of the bit from The New Frontier with Batman sacring the kid he saved from being sacrificed. Maybe that's where Carrie Kelley also comes in.
It might be but I also thought the black man in a neck brace at 1:27 might be Strange as well.At the :21 mark, is that Hugo Strange seen from behind? If so, could B:CC be confirmed to be in continuity with the Strange Days short this season?
She could be using hypnotic lipstick. They made a point of showing her applying lipstick in the trailer.Giving Riddler a female accomplice (Poison Ivy? Thorn?) and turning them into a Bonnie and Clyde duo seems fitting for the era, though I questing Riddler being part of that. He doesn't seem to leave any puzzles, but still leaves a question mark calling card (with the lipstick kiss being the dot).
Mm, yeah, that could be it!I think the Man-Bat figure is a transformed Mad Monk. I think he's formed a cult that worships Batman, or taking it further, maybe even Barbatos.
Another interesting take.Mad Hatter inducing moral panic is also neat. I wonder if she's inducing some hypnosis in her show to turn Gotham against Batman. Not that he's had a great reputation.
I presume he'll be one of the first victims of the Joker.I've noticed that despite the season 1 finale and the description for season 2 mentioning Rupert Thorne, he's not in any of the promotional material. Will he be taken out fast or will he still be a recurring threat throughout the season?
It'd be hilarious to me if they basically eschew the riddle gimmick and he's called the Riddler because he riddles crime scenes with his logo. Although I hope he's still super smartGiving Riddler a female accomplice (Poison Ivy? Thorn?) and turning them into a Bonnie and Clyde duo seems fitting for the era, though I questing Riddler being part of that. He doesn't seem to leave any puzzles, but still leaves a question mark calling card (with the lipstick kiss being the dot).
Makes me wonder if Kirk Langstrom factors in at allI think the Man-Bat figure is a transformed Mad Monk. I think he's formed a cult that worships Batman, or taking it further, maybe even Barbatos.
Will we still get hypnotic hatsMad Hatter inducing moral panic is also neat. I wonder if she's inducing some hypnosis in her show to turn Gotham against Batman. Not that he's had a great reputation.
Even if Joker will probably kill him at some point, he's not really the kind of marketable bad guy you put in the trailerI've noticed that despite the season 1 finale and the description for season 2 mentioning Rupert Thorne, he's not in any of the promotional material. Will he be taken out fast or will he still be a recurring threat throughout the season?
To be honest if marketing hadn't mentioned Scarecrow or Roxy you would probably have confused either for Firefly since their looks are more like him than their usual designs.Nitpick but I don't think Dave Franco is confirmed; the Empire article says he's seemingly the voice actor for Riddler and point out a cast list hasn't been announced yet. I'd wait until one comes out. They also mention Firefly and I don't think he was confirmed either unless it's a mix-up with Roxy Rocket.
If Rupert Thorne wasn't in the first season, Thorne (presuming that is her), could have been a gender-flipped version of the character.![]()
