According to Bulbagarden Forums, the first twelve minutes of this episode were heavily censored by TPCi or CN.
In the original version, Ash and his Pokemon were "crucified", appear in very obvious physical pain, and are audibly screaming.
In the dub, they are not crucified, they are not...
Clever. Hold back 5 or so episodes just because they all happened to take place in different countries, then air them all as part of a burn-off cleverly disguised as a marathon themed to diversity and culture.
Dismayed by Christina Miller's utter lack of progression in the past few years and inability to do anything but give Teen Titans Go! more seasons, former president and COO of Cartoon Network Stuart Snyder has returned to Turner from a gritty alley behind Ghost Planet Industries in order to bring...
Strange, because in recent years the latest Pokemon movies are always aired concurrently in U.S and Canada. Either the last movie's dub was poorly-received in the U.S (and I would not be surprised if that was the case due to certain "controversies") and they've decided not to air the new one...
I really don't understand why insignificant TV ratings in the top left corner that only appear for half a second are being considered this big, dire immediate issue.
People on this forum tend to overreact to the most pointless/inconsequential things. I really don't believe there are people at...
As someone who really enjoyed The Looney Tunes Show and watched all of this week's episodes, I'm going to have to play the devil's advocate among us and confess that Wabbit feels incredibly, incredibly boring, a real disappointment for a show that's been in the works for a while. I definitely...
What I don't understand is why they would pull all of their original comedies except Steven Universe and then still choose to air Total Drama/Wabbit by weekday instead of week. Wouldn't they be perfect "mid-season replacements" for all those pulled shows?
Pleasantly surprised to see the goths weren't eliminated in Transylvania. That'd seemed just cliche and "ironic" enough that I feared the writers would go through with it.
Are we aiming to be "realistic" or "wishful thinking" regarding these predictions? Because most of the ones posted thus far don't seem plausible in the slightest.
It is a Fighting type move with the capability of simultaneously dealing both Fighting type and Flying type damage. However, it isn't classified as a Flying type move.
As much as I know there are people that would be quick to call this episode filler, I'd sooner label it a training episode desperately trying to disguise itself as filler more than anything else.
I feel like Aunt Grandma and her design in general was a ploy to drag in people who either gave up the show before it improved, only saw promos and declared that they hated the show, or joined the bandwagon. Judging by the amount of replies this talkback's gotten compared to previous episodes...
This was kind of an odd episode if you look at it from a deeper metaphorical subtext. What with the revelation that Uncle Grandpa can't take a vacation simply because he's Uncle Grandpa, and the one time he tries to take a break, he's basically driven to "commit suicide" by jumping into a...
This is pure speculation, but a Diancie event has just been announced for Pokemon X&Y running from Oct 27th to Nov 16th. I suspect that it's pretty plausible for the dub of the recent Diancie movie to air sometime next month with this event acting as a tie-in.
Think it's worth mentioning that the Uncle Grandpa crew won an Emmy recently for Outstanding Individual in Animation in regards to Nick Edwards for the episode "Afraid of the Dark". Congrats to them. (To have done this before Clarence and Steven Universe is quite the achievement.)
The show keeps getting more and more self-aware. Not sure if that's a good thing or not, a lot of shows with a tendency of breaking the fourth wall kind of lose their charm after a while.
Also, those Crazy Frog and Clippy references were too much for me.
Not sure if this has already been posted, if it is, move or merge or whatever, I don't see anything regarding it on the front page so here it is: Footage of Over the Garden Wall from Comic-Con 2014.

Discuss and go nuts.
As long as Dave gets mauled, I'm happy.
I really lost passion for Sky when she started whining about losing at the very last second, not cool, kind of implies what her real motives were the whole time.
Rewatching the season marathon, there's a lot of foreshadowing that the island is artificial. What really struck me is in the first episode where Chris brings up the fact that the island is different than their last, and then how the moose pop up everytime he cues for them.
Wow, that was probably the best episode of the whole series. Practically a wild ride in itself, too bad Max had to open his big mouth at the last minute, otherwise he'd stay for another episode.
Glad Dave is gone, people that pride themselves over how "normal" they are compared to everyone else are annoying. Guy went bonkers around the end too.
I'm probably the only one that appreciates Sugar. Despite being disgusting, she's quite literally the glue that holds the team together. Dave is way too interested in Sky, Max is too much of a goofball (despite being the best character), and Shawn would much rather focus on zombies. It seems...
I thought it was pretty evident that she wasn't being serious, only pushing for Serena to make a move since it's so blatant that she's interested in him, and thus thought a taunting threat would be the best way of carrying out said push.
In additional news: After considering suicide, Miette's...
