I agree. This show is hilarious and I don't doubt it will get picked up for a second season. From what I've heard his Eric Andre Show Live your has been selling out just bout everywhere it goes. It looks cheap to make as well, so that's a factor too.

Another question to ask is how long it'll be. I know the original movies were ~50 minutes, but with this one being release years later it could conceivably be the length of modern shonen movie.

Sakurai says there won't be many new characters... There will be at least a dozen. Sakurai has a tendency to pack as much content into a game as possible. Look at Brawl. Insane amount of content. We probably won't see the game for another two or three years (maybe four with the eventual delays)...
