Well, one of the releases I hope to get this week (or later on) is Cross My Heart. I've had that one on VHS for sometime. I also hope to get Metalstorm: The Destruction of Jared-Syn, which also came out on DVD this week.

I happen to own a humongous VHS collection. A good amount of it consists of titles that are out of print and not on DVD and titles that have DVD releases that just so happen to be out of print and go up for as much as $30 online.

I only saw bits and pieces of the film, so I don't remember much about it. I also wasn't a big fan of the cartoon.

I think The Mask: The Animated Series (Based off the 1994 film) is another stalled-on-TV DVD release. When Son of the Mask was released on DVD, Wal-Mart sold an exclusive 2-pack of that movie with the 2-part pilot episode of the series. So far, this is the only DVD release of the show.

I think an episode of "Married...With Children" has Kelly refer to Bud as "Tiny Toon":p

Here's another example of such a reference. In "The Spooktacular New Adventures of Casper" episode entitled "Casper vs. The Ultimate Fan Boy", Phineas (The Ultimate Fan Boy in the episode) mentions Slappy Squirrel. He says "And push the Slappy Squirrel pogs! No one's buying the things!"

I was only a year old when the show debuted, but I then got attached to the show like maybe when I was 3 or 4. Not really sure, lol. I do know for a fact that I even had dolls of Buster and Plucky and some of the TTA toys that McDonald's gave out, as well as the VHS of "How I Spent My Vacation."...

I currently have my sight set on the new special edition DVD of The Wraith. :D

I think that I should also mention that Disney was poked fun at, as well as referred to a few times on the ill-fated Pinky, Elmyra and the Brain. In the episode "The Raven", it's revealed that Acme Labs was turned into a Disney Store. Also, in the episode "That's Edutainment", Pinky mentions...

And not to mention, Bartholomew Batt was a spoof of sorts of Mickey Mouse.

The episode was called "Cutie and the Beast" and had Dot as Belle and Taz as the Beast. It was a funny episode.

I remember in "Slappy Goes Walnuts" that Bonkers was mentioned.

I have that one as well. I also have an Animaniacs math book that I got back in 1999 as well as a Slappy/Skippy toy from McDonald's.

I'd like to get a region free player, as there are also some DVDs from other countries from the UK that I'd like to get, such as the Region Creepshow DVD and the Region 2 DVD of They Live, which has a commentary. I think notebooks DVD-ROM drives are region-free as well, but I could be wrong...
