Pretty good episode. Loved that it wasn't "mutant of the week." Loved seeing the Shredder more. And I loved that Splinter actually told Leonardo that winning was more important than playing fair. Don't usually hear practical advice like that on kid's shows. lol
Also I have to agree that...
I think you missed some of the point. It wasn't about Raph ignoring the people who insulted him or made him angry, it was about controlling his temper. At the end of the episode, did he just walk away from the spider dude insulting him? No. He let the insults slide so that he could focus on...
I loved it. It's like a mix of the turtles I loved when I was a kid with the Live action movie turtles. I wasn't a big fan of the 2003 version (an alien Shredder? wtf?).
I have a few nitpicks though. Namely that I hated the Kraang's speech patterns. I mean even Snake got annoyed with it...
Here's the SDCC panel. Love how they introduce Jason Biggs as "Sweet as pie." *snickers* http://www.nick.com/videos/clip/teenage-mutant-ninja-turtles-comic-con-2012-panel.html And I think April looks a bit better on the show than in toy form.
theme song is "meh." Every time they sang "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles" I kept going in my head "They're not saying it right!!!!!" lol
The show looks great though.
But I still think it would've been better with some Bebop and Rocksteady. *grumblemuttergrumble*
I would absolutely LOVE a Pirates of Dark water revival. Put Dan Norton (the Art Director for ThunderCats) on the team for the visuals, and get some of the Avatar TLA writers on it. It would be magic.
The trailer was a bit sillier than I anticipated, but I'm still looking forward to it. I noticed that all the "silly" moments seemed to involve Michaelangelo, so it could just be the way they handle him specifically.
I'm starting to think the tone of the series might be like the Teen Titans...
I have to agree with VileOne for once. The way CN promotes shows is just bad strategy. You don't over advertise your popular shows. The popular shows already have their fan base. What they should be doing is promoting the less popular shows during the popular ones. Why do you need an...
When they did? When did they? The only used the same old trailer over and over and over (and kinda exaggerating the "overs") that just had scenes from the premiere and the first couple episodes. They never advertised new episodes.
God forbid something that isn't Adventure time needs...
Casshern Sins is actually free to watch already on Funimation's youtube, so it's no real surprise that they got it cheap.
I do hope in the future they get more shows though. I'm honestly tired of watching FMA, GitS, etc. I love the shows, but they've reran them too many times now.
I'd...
Would be nice to get some of the newer Gundam series. I found Wing to be pretty boring, but I like Seed, 00, and Age.
Would be even nicer if it meant they would start selling the model kits in Wal-mart again. Hate paying those shipping prices. lol
They can't really blame reruns not doing well with Tcats because they really never reran it. All that was ever reran was episodes 1-5 and new episodes airing the Sunday morning after it premiered.
Personally I blame CN not promoting anything that's not Adventure time, Level Up, or Regular...
Personally I think this is likely what's happened. 14-26 will last a good 4 months or so, especially if they put another break in the middle like they did the first part, and then they'll probably have another hiatus to allow time to complete episodes like the one we just came off of. If a...
I think they should've went with Yellow Lanterns rather than Red for the villains. They had to alter them too much to make them fit. For one thing only Atrocitus should be able to think clearly and talk and for another the color Red is supposed to represent rage and having one that's...
Well seeing how they're trying to get the message to the kids I don't think CNN would really work would it? Or are they watching CNN in elementary school nowdays?
Yeah what's the source? That's a little later than I was lead to believe and those synopses seem extremely spoilerish for official synopses.
Edit: Nevermind my doubts. Got the date confirmed! whoohoo!
They absolutely weren't done at Comic-Con. Here's a post from the crew blog from November (a good 4 months or so after SDCC). "Let’s just say we’re on the later half of the 26 episodes. We work on multiple episodes at once. I’d say we usually work on 5 or more episodes at the same time all in...
Andrea Ramano is the voice director. Of course she's not working on the next season yet. They haven't even finished animating the current season. Episodes take months to complete (around 5 or so according to the crew's tumblr blog). Why would they start on season 2 before they finish...
The reason Bandai didn't have any new toys is because they JUST released new toys a month or two ago. Seriously how fast do you think toys are produced?
Hi. First time posting here. Anyway We got the information on the 6 week break from Dan Norton. The past few weeks the show's crew have had a chat linked from their tumblr blog (http://crewofomens.tumblr.com/) and he told us last Friday during that chat. Tonight was the clone wars hour...
