While this is a possibility it would be a disappointment and a waste of a character. Static is superior to to Black Vulcan in terms of personality, power set, and even name (seriously, black characters with black in their name for no reason are outdated and slightly insulting.)

This show has been the Superboy show for a while now. As others have pointed out this is the very first episode Superboy hasn't been in in a 31 episode run. I'm perfectly okay with Jaime getting more spotlight as long as it's anyone but Superboy at this point.

True the show doesn't focus in Dakota so it's not a big deal for the show, but it is the origin for many Dakota villains and is a key plot point for most of the characters. I say that while viewing Earth-16 as an Earth of its own rather than just the tv show.

Static's original origin is better, especially if you go into the details about why it wasn't an accident, but I'm okay if they change it. I just think it hurts Dakota as a superhero city.

We have confirmation from both Phil Lamarr (voice actor) and Phil Bourassa (lead character designer) that Virgil/Static will be introduced this season. Besides Black Vulcan is just a renamed Black Lightning who is already on the Justice League.

I'd say almost all of them deserve it. A lot of the New 52 titles just haven't been very good. I don't even find most of them bad, just boring.

That depends on your definition of almost. Last I counted there were 12 or 13 titles from the New 52 that are no longer in the top 100 and that's not counting the 6 canceled titles. That means so far 18 books from the New 52 have failed or are on the verge of.

When did they say Rimbor is outside the jurisdiction of the Green Lantern Corps? I only remember John saying Rimbor was outside HIS sector. That doesn't mean there isn't another Green Lantern assigned to Rimbor's sector.

The complaint about Korra being rushed doesn't hold as well because Korra was originally meant to be a mini series, not an ongoing tv show. Even now with the extension it isn't meant to go beyond season 2.
