True, but it’s not really a cultural icon like the previously mentioned shows. If you asked a random group of people, not a lot of them would immediately recognize Arcane. Rankings don’t always indicate true impact or popularity.

When they first premiered on FOX some of them were, AS just re-rated all of them TV-14. And if you been watching the FXX reruns those episodes are TV-PG again.

I don’t think they would completely lose their intergrity - it all depends on how they go about it. For example, I think CN could finesse something like a 4-part mini action series that goes up to a TV-14-V rating.

I watched it with my family on Christmas. It was very uplifting and somewhat depressing at the same time. Definitely doesn’t feel like your average kids movie, it was more like a surreal psychological dramedy. I will be re-watching to catch bits I might have missed in a group setting.

Yeah, even before CC switched the ratings I thought the same thing. Lotta those old episodes were barely TV-MA. But with Bob’s Burgers, it isn’t changing standards though. The earlier seasons had a little more vulgarity and shock humor, nowadays it’s more lighthearted.

IMO, the majority of Seasons 1-10 should stay TV-14-DLSV, while the rest should be TV-MA
