I'm launching a new thread around this time each month, featuring the latest comic solicitations.

Share what you're interested in reading, as that will help shape what comic books get talkback threads!

First up, here's the Oni Press comic solicitations for January 2026.

Highlights include "Spirits of the Shadows" #1, a new indie supernatural/superhero comic by Nick Cagnetti & Daniel Ziegler, the start of a new ongoing series.

There's also the ongoing "Rick and Morty" and "Adventure Time" comics, and....did you know they have a "Biker Mice from Mars" comic?!?

Here's IDW's Comic Solicitations for January 2026.

No Issue #1's that I can see, but the latest issues of all things "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles", "Godzilla", "Star Trek" and more!

There's also a "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles x Godzilla" mini-series presently that I'd looking to try out. Issue #3 arrives in January:

Here's the Image Comics solicitations for January 2026.

The only new Issue #1 is for "Malevolent", a new Indie comic by writer John Bivens and artist Justin Jordan. Here's an article about the upcoming project.

Also, Jason Aaron's "Bug Wars" continues with a one-shot titled "Bug Wars: The Spyder Wytch Special #1"! The ongoing series returns later in 2026.

Also, Image has the latest issues of licensed comics like Transformers, GI Joe, and Creepshow, plus Image superheroes like Savage Dragon and the numerous "Spawn" comics, and other Indie hits like "Feral" and "Skinbreaker"!

"Here are the Marvel Comic Solicitations for January 2026!

Highlights this month include a relaunch of the Iron Man ongoing series (by writer Joshua Williamson and artist Carmen Carnero, providing a great “jump on board” point). There’s also a new “Knull” mini-series (starring Venom’s arch nemesis) by Al Ewing & Tom Waltz, and “Avengers” reaches it’s 800th issue, with a special issue written by Jed MacKay and a surprise writer!

Also, the X-Men line of comics are back from the dark future of the “Age of Revelation” event, with Rogue, Psylocke and X-Force each getting a new mini-series. Finally, the Ultimate Universe continues to draw towards it’s conclusion, as the “Ultimate” line of comics will conclude this Spring.

Here's Dynamite's January 2026 solicitations.

Leading this month is "Thundarr the Barbarian #1", the first time classic cartoon "Thundarr" has made it to comic book format, and it's written by Jason Aaron!

Other highlights include a new "The Nightmare Before Christmas" comic series, the "Gargoyles/Darkwing Duck" mini-series, and the latest comics for Red Sonja, Space Ghost, Terminator, Stitch, Thundercats and more!
