I think this is supposed to be the most hyped thing since Jujutsu Kaisen and Chainsaw Man. I guess when this comes out, those unfamiliar with the manga will find out what the hype is all about. At least with Chainsaw Man, the title let you know what the hype was all about. I don't know what a Kagurabachi is.

I think this is supposed to be the most hyped thing since Jujutsu Kaisen and Chainsaw Man. I guess when this comes out, those unfamiliar with the manga will find out what the hype is all about. At least with Chainsaw Man, the title let you know what the hype was all about. I don't know what a Kagurabachi is.

Literally, kagura is a ritual dance (like the basis of Tanjiro's ultimate move in Demon Slayer he saw his dad do) and bachi is karma / punishment (i.e. if you do or say something bad to others, something bad will happen to you). So I think the English version of title would probably be something like 'Divine Wrath'.

From this teaser, all I can gather plotwise is that it's about a dude in a Matrix coat with a sword and this will be gory. The teaser revealed next to nothing, so there's still a lot of mystery as to what this hyped series is all about for those unfamiliar with the manga.
