"Mortal Kombat: Legends - Snow Blind" Pre-Release News And Discussion (Spoilers)

I am actually really surprised we are getting another Mortal Kombat Legends movie. Mostly because it felt like the last one was a "well we wanted to make several other MK animated movies but we're not going to be able to fit in all our ideas so we're just going to throw in a bunch of them into one film" which really did hurt it honestly having to cram in so much. I guess that still did well enough they decided to green light another movie though... this is really where they decided to take the story? I am glad to not get another "focus" on Liu Kang and appreciate having one be more about the Kuai Liang Sub Zero but... doing a plot about Kenshi of all characters? Like I am glad they're trying to go for a smaller story but doing the one from Deadly Alliance still seems weird. Also Kano died in Scorpion's Revenge... and yeah characters die in Mortal Kombat and find convoluted ways of coming back all the time but I kind of thought the movies were avoiding that for characters it wouldn't make sense to do that with. Like it makes sense with Scorpion with his story; how does it make sense with Kano? Eh still appreciate they are still making these movies... and you know sadly it's at the point now where we have to appreciate WB actually making a movie and still planning on it coming out sadly.

Did Kano actually die? I haven't re-watched it but last I remember he got just hit in the nuts.

The Impression I got of that movie is that Kano was supposed to die as shown here.

The whole point of Jax doing the "now we can go" is showing him crushing and killing Kano since yeah Mortal Kombat characters in this particular movie if they are trying to kill someone actually will go and kill them. Granted it's not the most gory way of doing it but I got the impression that Kano died... I guess you could argue "well maybe he was just totally trashed with his teeth kicked and he found a way to come back from that" but yeah if that is the case that's a retcon as it's pretty clear he was supposed ot die here. Then again Mortal Kombat retcons things all the time. I mean the latest game MK11 was all about that. Still feels weird to have Kano be seen as a big bad of a movie or project as that's never been the case in MK.

The movie comes out October 9 on digital and October 11 on Blu Ray.

Today marks the 5th Year Anniversary of the HD Version of Skyward Sword. I appreciated how the HD Version of the game included quality of life improvements such as the option to use button controls.
You know at this point we really need to admit it is never coming home.

Happy 20th anniversary to Gummibär/Gummy Bear!

Here's to hoping he releases an anniversary album in stores on November 13th (with lots of music, videos, and extras).
Just brought a Switch 2 this past weekend. I hope Nintendo doesn't follow Sony's suit of getting rid of physical games.
