Ash battles against Guzma's Golisopod, but Pikachu becomes too poisoned and weakened to continue fighting.
Lillie is allowed to use her father's Z-Ring to practice her Z-Move with Snowy.
Lillie intends to fix the Magerna that her father wanted to give her.
Ash and his friends arrive in Malie City in Ula'Ula Island.
Rowlet learns Brave Bird.
Sophocles gets his own Buginium Z-Crystal and Z-Ring.
Lana's Brionne evolves into Primarina.
Mallow receives her own Grassium Z-Crystal and Z-Ring.

The Family Restaurant has run out of Big Mushrooms, so Mallow heads into the forest to visit Oranguru, who can replenish her supply of the essential ingredient. When she arrives at Oranguru’s place, she’s surprised to see Team Rocket’s Meowth relaxing with a delicious Pinap Juice in hand. The peace and quiet is soon disrupted by an influx of Pokémon customers, and Mallow gets recruited to help satisfy the crowd with her culinary skills.

There’s big trouble for Team Rocket, and surprisingly, Ash and his friends are not the cause of it! Jessie, James, and Meowth receive a call from Matori at Headquarters, who tells them to send the Bewear they’ve caught over to Giovanni immediately. Of course, poor Team Rocket never actually caught Bewear, and the overly protective Pokémon isn’t too keen on going into a Poké Ball. And when Matori and Alolan Meowth show up in Alola? Well, it looks like that trouble is gonna be made double.​

Rinse, repeat, watch.... That's how my Sundays go now as EPL Soccer (Premier League Soccer) on NBCSN has taken over my Saturdays,,, and with DIsneyNOW it's much easier now to catch up on this show... Great episode as always...

I thought that this episode was pretty good. It was funny how Team Rocket's lie about catching Beware came back to bite them in the neck. Trying to catch it after spending so much time with it does make sense, but obviously, Bewear is too powerful for them. Plus, if either Jessie or James caught it, that could affect the running gag of Bewear taking them away.

Matori and Alolan Meowth seem to be a perfect fit in terms of trainer and Pokemon personalities. Ash and his friends spending most of the episode practicing their Z-Moves gave them something to do while the main focus was on Team Rocket. Although, it was kind of strange how they were so nervous over all of them having Z-Rings and Z-Crystals. It just felt like such a long time since Ash and his friends confronted Team Rocket, so I didn't think that they would be that worried about having to deal with that many Z-Moves.

They were pretty careful about not giving Matori Beware for so long that she set her eyes on Stufful. Stufful hasn't really done much other than signal Beware's arrival for the gag, but it was nice that they didn't want Stufful and Beware to be separated. Matori being distracted enough for their plan to work didn't make her look that great, but they needed to switch Stufful with Meowth. Beware crashing the plane to get Meowth back was pretty cool. It basically solved the problem for Team Rocket since now Matori and her Meowth are too afraid of Beware to try and get it again. It does make me wonder how they'll handle the departure at the end of SM. I doubt that Beware will stick around after SM, but it has become protective over Team Rocket too. Overall, it was a pretty good episode.
