7:00 AM Yu-Gi-Oh! Go Rush “Wrath of the Requiem” This is a rerun of episode 13. This episode is Yudias vs Zuwijo, the conclusion of the rerun of the first arc. Including initial Saturday and Sunday encre runs and reruns during a prior hiatus following episode 34, this is the fourth time the first arc has rerun. Later arcs have only aired twice—one time each on Saturday and Sunday. The second arc begins reruns on Sunday April 5th at 7:30 AM, and continues the following weekend. Currently four arcs have aired, completing the first season of 51 episodes. No date is known for a return of Go Rush of Beyblade X premieres. Go Rush concluded one year ago in Japan and still has 100 episodes left to dub. Information on a TCG release of Rush Duel cards featured in Go Rush remains scarce. Recently the Genesys format has hit the TCG, and Rush duel may never reach non-OCG territories.
7:30 AM Beyblade X “The Gradual One” After a morning of reruns, a premiere episode mid season finale airs. Episode synopsis: “Takumi is invited to appear as a guest on a special program sponsored by Yggdrasil Research.” This weekend’s episode focuses on the one off bully from the first chapter of the manga, Takumi, who is given more of a nuanced role in the anime through his recurring appearances friendship with the eccentric philanthropist Blaze Fujiwara.
Following the announcement of Omega Shiroboshi that the X would be awarding star points to those climbing the Solidus Tower, a series of filler episodes have focused on various teams’ climbs through the ranks. Underappreciated characters Toguro Okunaga and Zoonamos Nekoyama received an instant replay of their episode on March 21.
On Saturday April 11, reruns loop back to the start of season 2 for Beyblade X at 7:30 AM. Season 2 has also been in rotation on weekdays for several months at 3:00 PM. Season 1 can be found on streaming platforms such as Netflix and Hulu.
New season openings and endings’ English TV edits already debuted a few weeks ago. However the English season breaks do not exactly match up with Japan’s year round schedule and periodic theme changes. The first opening “Prove” by One Ok Rock ran on the first 51 episodes and ending “Zoom Zoom” by Aespa also lasted one year. The second set lasted half as many episodes. “You Gotta Run” by L’Arc-en-Ciel and “Cosmic Treat” by Perfume ran for the second season’s first half. “Rise” by Tomorrow x Together and “Stay Gold” by Ado and Jax Jones are used in the most recent handful of dub episodes.
The anime of Beyblade X and Yu-Gi-Oh Go Rush both differ strongly from their manga counterparts. Viz’s Beyblade X manga releases with art by Posaku Demizu of The Promised Neverland, and Kakegurui creators Hikaru Mono and Homura Kawamoto’s writing, can be found in bookstores and libraries.
Yu-Gi-Oh! manga have remained unlicensed since Arc-V ended in V Jump. VRAINS never got a manga. Sevens and Go Rush manga were partial adaptations of the anime in Saikyo Jump, with many characters removed. Proponents of the manga prefer the quicker pace, while anime fans prefer the additional character moments in filler episodes.
Do you expect Disney XD to stick around long enough for the remaining 100 episodes of the 151 episodes Yu-Gi-Oh! Go Rush English dub to make it to air?
