It was like I was back in 1997 again watching Cartoon Network on Friday night.

EDIT: One thing I noticed, no Sheep In The Big City? Did it run too long or something? I forget how long its episodes were.

Sheep In The Big City had a running time of 22 min.

Would love to see that myself, along with Time Squad, I M Weasel and Megas XLR, some shows you don't see every day. I'm fine with these shows for now though. The episodes were 22 minutes each, I believe.

was refreshing. The 90s toons have definitely aged but still look great. I noticed some things I hadn't noticed when I was younger. Like...that Johnny Bravo episode. Both Seth Macfarlane and Butch Hartman worked on it and later in their own shows, they'd incorporate Adam West. Also the park in Foster's is named "Van Dyke Park..." I wonder if Craig Mccracken has heard Brian Wilson's SMiLE.

The bits in between were good too. I had pizza earlier today and I want some more now.

Block scheduling the same shows everyday is gettin really old. They need more variety like this.

I hope this will last a while, because that was really enjoyable to watch. Brak and Zorak were great (glad they weren't toned down at all). I especially liked The Pizza Song ("I've said pizza 38 times now! I'm gonna say it 14 more!" *slightly nervous look from Zorak*), and "What's in my Mouth" and the dating tips were funny as well. Heck, I liked all the Brak and Zorak sketches. While it is a shame that Space Ghost isn't around, the sketches are still just as good without him.

The Foster's Home episode was funny (the presence of Kevin McDonald made it even better), and Johnny Bravo Meets Adam West is one of the funniest things I've ever seen. In fact with all the reality shows starring washed-up celebrities that are on TV today, I'm surprised that an Adam West show like the one in the episode doesn't exist yet. It would probably be something I'd actually watch, too.

On a slightly unrelated note, I also enjoyed the overly-dramatic commercial for the movie edition of the Battleship board game ("YOU SUNK MY BATTLESHIP!!!!!!!!" "YES!!!!!!!")

Nice to watch some old cartoons(If only we can get Megas XLR on Cartoon Planet)
I think the Johnny Bravo Meets Adam West was the best short of the night as well as Birthday Bash and Sight For Sore Eyes XD

God, that was the best thing I've seen come out of Cartoon Network since Looney Tunes returning last year! Hope this countinues for a while. LONG LIVE THE NEW CARTOON PLANET!

Oh, it is? That's nice. Time Squad and Megas could work, possibly. 1 22 minute episode, plus 2 11 minute episodes or 3 7 minute episodes.

I agree that this has been the best thing since the return of Looney Tunes last year.

I want to start a new discussion if I can: What was the best episode tonight? I enjoyed Foster's, Johnny Bravo and PPG, but I think I enjoyed Johnny Bravo the most. Adam West is hilarious. Might I add I love the Mayor in the PPG.

Hoping for the best for this block, I think it will pull though for a while. and Time Squad's concern, timing wise I don't see a problem with it, the episodes ran from between seven to fifteen minutes each. Sheep on the other hand...well I really wish that they'd give the block atleast another hour for the longer stuff.

Agreed! This and Monday nights are a great way to bookend the weeks.

Speaking of Dexter, C&C, Johnny and PPG, why not bring back the old What a Cartoon Show? Maybe for a week or two..maybe.

This was actually amazing. The block really met my expectations. It also seems that the setting is in more of a modern home setting, which is pretty neat I suppose. I enjoyed the Pizza Song, Zorak's Poetry, and Brak's Dating Tips, all great.

Johnny Bravo, definitely. "'Your heart's afire'? Hmmm, that rhymes with 'tarts on a wire', which rhymes with 'carts for hire'. Kelly, your mother is being held hostage at the golf course!"
