Toon Zone - Shows - Current Schedule

Looks like Nick is gonna try to answer Disney's movies with altering the schedule for the rest of this week with their normal more SBSP move. The weekends are particularly different with only FOP during the 7 a.m. hour and the rest being SBSP. There's also no TTM/THH but more SaC and Swindle/Jinxed to fill in their slots. Guess we'll have to see if the upcoming mini marathons of all Nicks shows will actually happen, should Nick feel pressured by Disney's ratings. Honestly though, TMNT, SJC, FOP, SaC, and RI held up well last week so I don't expect the changes to be long term. Just for the rest of this week.

If Nick can have some changes, maybe Nick at Nite should also get changed I believe because ratings are slowly dropping, total week last week fell to 890,000.

New Year's Eve Schedule beginning at 3 p.m. - Swindle and Jinxed back to back. Then single episodes of SBSP, TMNT, RI, SJC, SaC, THH, TTM, SDR and IM. Then at 11 p.m., an hour long Teen Nick Top 10 special.

Then, on Wednesday, Jan. 1, we get the first glimpse of Nick's winter break lineup.

7:00-10:00 a.m. - Nick Jr.
10:00-12:00 p.m. - SBSP
12:00-1:30 p.m. - FOP Special
1:30-3:00 p.m. - SaC/SaC/THH
3:00-4:00 p.m. - RI/SJC
4:00-6:00 p.m. - SBSP episodes/specials
6:00-7:30 p.m. - SaC
7:30-8:00 p.m. - Every Witch Way

I personally love it, although I'd love to see how the whole week will look. Perhaps TMNT and TTM will get rotated in. But overall... this is a great Nick lineup.

But as always, we'll see how long Nick will let this lineup run if the ratings don't hold up. However, I do believe it's a stacked lineup with SaC getting a bunch of slots and RI/SJC getting spots in places they'll do well in. SBSP and FOP will be good wherever they air.

I'm liking that Jan 1 lineup. Only problem is that may be a little too much SaC. It seems like Nick is trying to make it the new iCarly with all the slots its getting, which may not be the best idea. Don't get me wrong it's a strong repeat performer, I'm just not sure it warrants a 90 minute block outta nowhere. Then again, with the special coming, now would be the best time to push it big. Hoping TMNT can squeeze in a marathon or something of that sort before school returns. The Turtle Takeover marathons did very well last week, despite big DC competition. But Christmas break looks great following this weekend. It'll be nice to have a break from the endless SBSP repeats.

Gotta see how the whole week shakes out because some blocks might rotate shows every other day. I'm sure TMNT and TTM will end up somewhere weekly too.

And lets hope Nick follows through with next weeks marathons. SaC, SBSP, FOP, THH, RI/SJC, and TTM will all have days dedicated to them. Can't think of the last time Nick even dared to do that. But this is the first time since maybe 2010 where Nick had more than two or three shows that can perform well on reruns.

Next might be a very important time for the network to begin advertising for premieres beginning on Saturday, Jan. 4. Zap2It has episode descriptions for SaC, THH, and TTM already.

Nick might be moving TMNT to Sundays, according to the January premiere info listed on Zap2It and TheFutonCritic.

Also, SaC reunion special of scheduled for Saturday, Jan. 18th instead of the following Monday. But there's still a new episode listed for that Monday called #YayDay.

If Nick is thinking about moving TMNT to Sundays, then they are likely planning for Breadwinners to get the 11am slot (post Sanjay & Craig). That could potentially help lift Rabbids also.

I'm more confident in BW and I am cautiously optimistic it could take off like SJC. The new clips don't look as horrible as the pilot and from what i can take away, the show is gonna be high energy and fun. FOP-SBSP-SJC-BW-RI is clearly a K2-11 block.

Kinna half and half if TMNT is placed Sundays, but I can see why. It doesn't bridge SJC and RI well IMO. And of the Nicktoons, I think it's definitely a K6-11 show that pulls adults in as well. Saturdays is prime time for cartoons, but Sunday mornings are still strong.

Side thought: Wouldn't it be awesome if Nick paired KFP with TMNT. TMNT has 19 episodes left and KFP has 18. KFP is the last Nicktoon in limbo that hasn't been officially moved to Nicktoons. Those two could really work well together. Maybe even throw a LoK rerun after KFP (unlikely, but still...)

This is a much better lineup than before. Good to see SJC return to the weekdays. I think Nick Jr. will takeover SBSP's 12:30-2PM block starting Jan. 6 (where all the kids go back to school). Good idea by Nick for moving FOP to 2PM weekdays. It decreases SBSP's rerun airings and leaves room for SJC and RI.

It looks like SaC will be making a weeknight stretch considering that it's listed on Jan. 2nd, 3rd and 4th at the same timeslot at 7PM. I'm expecting THH to make a weeknight stretch as well as soon as EWW vanishes.

All in all good lineup, though I would personally take one FOP airing at 3PM, move SJC/RI to 3-4PM, place TMNT at 4PM and extend Nick to 9PM Mon-Wed.

I'll be okay with Nick placing TMNT on Sundays. Its repeats have done decent there before. T.U.F.F. Puppy and Penguins of Madagascar also were placed on Sunday mornings before, but both managed to pull 2M+ viewers there. To be honest, since The Legend of Korra is on hiatus, Kung Fu Panda: Legends of Awesomeness would be the perfect match for TMNT as rockorockorocko stated. I could see Nick labeling TMNT/KFP as a action-comedy animation block on Sundays and that both would pull great numbers. Really hope Nick returns KFP soon.

Once Nick goes back to their regular lineup, FOP will likely go back to 3 p.m. And no guarantee SJC, RI or either will be in the weekly lineup. Although I hope so.

EWW will likely get a SaC lead in each night. But I noticed that TTM and THH occupy the 8 p.m. hour following EWW. They'd have to maintain decent ratings for that to continue, but nice to see Nick keep both on the weekly lineup somehow. I've always felt Nick should keep that 8 p.m. hour each night, but I guess they do feel ratings would be safe the whole weeknight stretch.

I think TMNT will be ok Sundays as long as Nick promotes the heck out of the move (altough they've neglected TMNT) . I see why it's needed, but it's bittersweet because it's no longer part of that prime Saturday morning block. I guess we'll have to just see how things go, but I definitely hope it can be successful and that Nick would pair KFP with it. If TMNT is gonna be moved, there needs to be a block to help bring attention to it. TMNT/KFP and even a LoK rerun would be a fantastic stretch.

Hm, this is an interesting schedule. Good to see SJC return to the weekday lineup. Though, I would've switched SJC-RI and put TMNT at 4:30PM. SJC/TMNT could work well together and create a nice lead into SBSP. I also don't wanna move RI away from FOP, as the two have worked very well together. I think it's smart to air SaC by itself at 7PM. It scores considerably higher than TTM/THH there and often drops little from SBSP. Than, when EWW is over, return THH/TTM at 7:30PM. As for TMNT, I think the Sunday move is great, so long as its advertised well. It and KFP mix well together and it creates a possible block for future Nicktoons.

I also agree with the TMNT/KFP combo. That would be a great idea.

IMO, one slot for FOP is enough. Two at the most. Nick has SJC, TMNT and RI, which could all do just as well as FOP and SHOULD be on air weekdays IMO.

Nick really has it good on the animation end again. Who'd a thought Nick would have three other cartoons outside of SBSP/FOP that they could get solid rerun numbers from? Huge upgrade from PoM/TP/RaM.

January 6 begins the "new" weekday lineup for Nick. Looks great. Probably will see some TMNT, THH and TTM somewhere in the weekday lineup as the full week comes out. Really hoping the ratings hold together so Nick can stick with this, it's a similar schedule that they've tried to before.

Basically it's just two less airings of SBSP, with some shifting. Great thing IMO is SaC, RI and SJC have all proven they can hold down spots week days.

8:30-2:00 p.m. - Nick Jr.
2:00-3:30 p.m. - SBSP

Not sure how SaC will do at 7 a.m. In the morning and I would switch RI and SJC. Really crazy how just two less SBSP airings make a difference. Interested to see how the rest of the week looks.

I would have switched RI and SJC. But, I guess they thought Rabbids found a solid repeat audience. I also would have rotated TMNT/SJC in that 4:00 slot. Hopefully, Nick rotates the live action in that 7:00pm slot.

SaC will likely bomb in that 7am slot thanks to its lead in, See Dad Run, which can't even score 1M in the slot it's in. They should have never removed Full House, which was pulling in over 1M in that 6:30am slot.

Thats actually a really good Nick schedule. Far more diverse than some of the recent schedules. Though, personally I would've put TMNT at 3PM or rotated it with SJC-RI, which I think should be switched. SJC works very well alongside SBSP and would provide a good lead-in. Though, RI seems to have found a steady repeat audience. I think it's best Nick leaves SaC by itself in that 7:00pm slot, as it does far better than TTM/THH there. Then, once EWW is over, substitute TTM/THH back in that 7:30 slot.

If TTM and THH could rotate Mon-Thurs and TMNT can get their TTT on Friday I would definitely be a happy camper. Weekends have been diversified greatly for awhile now, so it's really just the weekday schedule that needs help.

And I agree, I'd feel much safer with SaC at 7 a.m. If it followed FH vs SDR. I'm hoping SaC can retain a second weekly spot though even if it's early Morning. Like I said, crazy how just two less episodes of SBSP can make a huge change visually when you look at the schedule.

Speaking of EWW, it's official episode count is 40, yet there's only 20 episodes and this is supposedly a "one-month only" event. Does anyone know if the count was reduced or if each half hour counts as two episodes? Not like I care much about what happens to the show, but just wondering.

Well, todays promo more or less confirmed Breadwinners is premiering after a SBSP special, as both are being promoted for a February release. Good move by Nick. Though, hopefully its a weekend premiere as opposed to the Monday premieres Nick has done lately.
