Nickelodeon Schedule Discussion, Part 2

The only explanation I have for Nick's moving of SaC, and adding more SB is they want fans to get used to SB airing in that 7pm slot, since the special will be airing the following week.

That's possible. It bugs me a little, but at the same time I'm ok with it as long as Nick continues to keep other shows on the schedule. I would take another airing of SBSP early evening for a TMNT weekly spot that replaces one of SBSP earlier episodes.

Yeah next week Monday week SpongeBob takes 7PM is annoying. I dont understand nick's schedule though. ATV tomorrow 7:30pm week is surprising. Maybe Nick will renew to season 2 but we'll see....

As for Nick at Nite (sorry if it's off thread since not one single person makes any posts about opinions about nick at nite in sitcomsonline forum for past month), it will also continue this Monday week as well as last week for midnight marathon which is promoted as Nick at Nite Winter Block. One thing i dont understand why dont they start at around 9pm or 10pm, why 11pm, why they keep full house in primetime other than good ratings?

UPDATE: As of Feb 3, 2014 for nick at nite winter block, it seems that nick.com page for nick at nite Tues (Wed midnight 1:24AM) has old adventures of christine marathon instead of hanging with mr. cooper after friends listed which is surprising. but zap2it and tvlistings have hanging with mr. cooper marathon on a tues (wed) late night. wonder why zap2it hasn't updated and nick at nite making last minute changes despite they were already advertised as winter block party features george lopez, friends, and hanging with mr. cooper. maybe sometime tonight the advertisement will change.

I also noticed small schedule change as of today 7AM.
Nick Schedule | TV for Kids | Nickelodeon Schedule | Nick.com, click on "see what was on earlier today"
I looked up at nick.com tv schedules, 7AM shows SpongeBob but zap2itlistings are Fairly Oddparents today and tomorrow too. Not sure if this changes Friday...
And a note: despite Old Christine marathon (Nick at Nite didn't make any promo for winter block party as of yesterday night, but nice cute valentine promo for see dad run/instant mom). But I wonder if this marathon will continue this week and next week. Zap2it listings were scheduled, but I think I have a feeling Nick may make more changes in late night hours..
The schedule change Nick makes gets severak times per week, tvguide or zap2it listings make it harder to update on short notice.

Nick kept SaC at 7 p.m. Perhaps Nick decided it best not to change SaC spot - good idea. Nick keeping ATV at 7:30 tho. Go figure. I guess they wanna keep the hype for THH/TTM for weekend premieres?

I didn't know ATV aired at 7:30PM tonight, I thought ATV week before was aired as part of all stars week for promo. I just looked at nick.com. I came back at 8pm and wasn't aware of it. I thought SaC aired at 7:30PM and at least zap2listings didn't update changes.

Also I have an important question: How many more episodes does Nick News have to finish airing including tomorrow's?

Looks like Nick has invested in making Thursday movie night. Ice Age last week, Rugrats tomorrow, Ice Age again in two weeks, and another new pick up - Paul Bart: Mall Cop at the end of the month. Not sure how well this movie will do. But I'm glad Nick shifted the movie acquisitions from the poorly rated Sunday nights to Thursday nights for kids.

BTW, Disney is going back to a movie binge early afternoons and late evenings probably due some REALLY low overall ratings recently. So far nothing hitting Nick premieres, but still... It definitely messed Nick up the last time Disney did this.

looks like this Sunday's and next week's Sunday SDR and IM new episodes are pulled and replaced with repeats, SDR has 4 more episodes left to air in season 2, and season 3 is still currently in filming. IM has 13 episodes left to air and season 2 is currently in filming.
after Breadwinners preview is SpongeBob SquarePants movie at 8pm. It's already airing at 1pm, so why puttin another at 8pm?
Nick at nite midnight winter block marathon will continue and probably ends at February.
Monsters vs Aliens is getting repeat slot starting Sundays Feb 23 7:30AM. S&C and ATV will continue 7PM hour as well.

SDR/IM pulled so it doesn't go against GLC finale and then the Olympics ending ceremony the week after.

SBSP after BW to keep viewers tuned in after the SBSP premiere.

I came back from college at 7pm and turned on TV: SpongeBob Truth or Square was airing it instead of Rugrats in Paris (although my surprise). Nick.com/tvschedule has updated but toonzone and tvlistings didnt. 7PM is Truth or Square. 8PM is Atlantis SquarePantis. This is NOT good schedule for this day at all!

Another update from Feb 14 schedule: once again Nick at Nite had made change to schedule. This time starting Tuesdays midnight hours after Friends were NOW My Wife and Kids marathon instead of Old Adventures of Christine. My Wife and Kids has finally returned to lineup from hiatus. Now this has been questionable: as why every Tuesdays Nick at Nite changes to different show. It gets inconsistent. First was Hangin with Mr. Cooper, second was Christine and now My Wife and Kids. So the real thing is after My Wife and Kids marathon for next Tuesday will it change to different show or leave it the way it is? Maybe by starting March I believe this marathon should be gone. The total viewers for week were doin decent. Midnight hours without marathon had done solid but not strong ratings, but doin well. Movies for Thursday was a good idea. If Nick at Nite has to do marathon, it should be at least one week per month or two months just like back in 2011 that used to be My Wife and Kids and George Lopez started at 9PM or 10PM but didn't start at 11pm or later time.

How's this for unfortunate, starting this week, TMNT's only slot is it's Sunday premiere. That's unacceptable IMO. Also, it seems like while BW is premiering, RI is gonna be taking a break. It's weekend slots get replaced by BW, although RI remains in the weekday lineup. The least Nick could do is give TMNT ONE slot every weekday, or at least Total Turtle Takeover. Shoot, I'd even be OK with giving it the weekend 7 a.m. hour over reruns of PoM/FBaCC/RaM/KFP/TP. I don't get it.

The fact that ATV gets repeated throughout the week but TMNT doesn't is disturbing, and IMO, offensive to TMNT's crew who put hard work into the show versus ATV, which is just Youtube clips compiled together hosted by a Nick star.

Agreed about TMNT. Nick should've at least kept airing a repeat Saturday at 11.

Nick going all in with the movie acquisitions, the Saturday after Mall Cop, Nick is airing Percy Jackson. Another great pick up for Nick, and hope it does well. Surprising they are getting a bunch of movies that originally aired on CN.

Wow, good for Nick for nabbing Percy Jackson. I wish they were able to nab some of the animated movies from their sister company, Paramount like Rango, etc

I'm really liking the movie acquisitions by Nick. They have a pretty nice list right now:

Rugrats in Paris
Spongebob Squarepants the Movie
Avatar: The Last Air Bender
Over the Hedge
Scooby Doo I
Scooby Doo II
Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs
The Spiderwick Chronicles
Ice Age
Mall Cop
Percy Jackson

I hope Nick can eventually get Madagascar, The Smurfs, The Cat in the Hat, The Lorax, Kung Fu Panda, Shrek, etc.

Percy Jackson & the Olympians: The Lightning Thief will air on Saturday March 1st at 8pm, meaning no new live action premieres for the first Saturday in March.

TMNT is one of Nick's most successful (and likely most expensive to produce) shows right now and they can't bother to give it more than one slot a week on the main channel? Ridiculous.

If they can't see fit to do it the honor of having a weekday strip the least they could do is encore the premieres somewhere.

They could encore it at 11:30 or 12:30 next to Power Rangers premieres on Saturday (both slots currently occupied by SpongeBob) or at least on Sunday morning next to Power Rangers before the hours of SpongeBob that lead into new Ninja Turtles.

They play Power Rangers twice a week but wont at least do that much for Ninja Turtles? They own Ninja Turtles, they are probably required to air Power Rangers twice a week by contract but that's no excuse not to give TMNT as good or better treatment.

They could easily give TMNT one of those weekday afternoon slots. Even the 3PM one would suffice for reruns. Heck, even 7AM weekday mornings would be better than nothing. I just don't get how a show that's done so well for them and has made so much money since they started airing it is not getting more than one time slot a week on the main network.

They aren't even making up for that much with how they air the show on Nicktoons in the 6AM hour and nowhere else. They don't even play the show in order on Nicktoons.

Eh, I'm fine with this. Preteens/teens are highly familiar with Cody Simpson. Instant Mom is one of the lowest rated shows on Nick/Nick at Nite right now, so that seems reasonable. Sam & Cat is out of he question for a post-KCA slot since it's doing a lot better than last year, but The Thundermans and The Haunted Hathaways are one of the choose I personally would chose, even if they're doing slightly better (but not as up tier as SaC).

But for the pre-KCA slot, it's GOTTA be Sanjay & Craig or maybe even TMNT. I hope it's not something like See Dad Run.

Happy 15th anniversary to Secret Mountain Fort Awesome!

It should've ran for as many seasons and episodes as its post-predecessor Uncle Grandpa did.
I wish Imgur wasn't allowed on this forum until the time is right for a return since it's been unavailable in the UK since last September, so I don't see why people use links from the site for here when it's no longer available in the UK and I'm really angry that their parent company made this stupid decision.
Happy 45th anniversary, MTV.
MeTV Toons is a great channel when it comes to classic cartoons, but we know it can be way better. The Duck4Real (me!) elaborates on this in his latest YouTube vlog. Watch it!
