I'm all for Sanjay & Craig or TMNT, either one would be a good choice.
TMNT is one of Nick's most successful (and likely most expensive to produce) shows right now and they can't bother to give it more than one slot a week on the main channel? Ridiculous.
If they can't see fit to do it the honor of having a weekday strip the least they could do is encore the premieres somewhere.
They could encore it at 11:30 or 12:30 next to Power Rangers premieres on Saturday (both slots currently occupied by SpongeBob) or at least on Sunday morning next to Power Rangers before the hours of SpongeBob that lead into new Ninja Turtles.
They play Power Rangers twice a week but wont at least do that much for Ninja Turtles? They own Ninja Turtles, they are probably required to air Power Rangers twice a week by contract but that's no excuse not to give TMNT as good or better treatment.
They could easily give TMNT one of those weekday afternoon slots. Even the 3PM one would suffice for reruns. Heck, even 7AM weekday mornings would be better than nothing. I just don't get how a show that's done so well for them and has made so much money since they started airing it is not getting more than one time slot a week on the main network.
They aren't even making up for that much with how they air the show on Nicktoons in the 6AM hour and nowhere else. They don't even play the show in order on Nicktoons.
This is kind of off the "Is Nick Overhated Thread", but it seems like Nick continues to get so much flack for it's line up. I get there's still a lot of SBSP, but am I the only one who is happy with the progress Nick has made with it's weekday and weekend schedule?
I mean a year ago, it was basically 11 airings of SBSP, 3 FOP at 1 DaJ. And the weekends weren't much better, with some stuff sprinkled in, but basically a whole lot of SBSP.
But now, although there's still 10 airings of SBSP, there's 1 FOP, 1 RI, 1 SJC, 1 SaC and rotating slot at 7:30 p.m. I mean that's something right? And the weekend schedule is always super diversified IMO and I'm happy with that.

My only gripe is TMNT should get a weekday slot (which would bring SBSP down to 9 airings) and some weekend reruns. And maybe THH/TTM rotating at 7:30 p.m. instead of ATV (barf). But other than that, I'm fine with the lineup. I just find it crazy people feel like Nick is still where it was. But perhaps that's the stigma it's put upon itself.
Give TMNT a weekday strip (again) and MAYBE place it at a good timeslot. It would be a good idea if FOP, RI and SJC gets pushed to 3-4:30pm and TMNT gets the 4:30pm slot. That would be the best slot for it, hands down. Makes no sense that considering TMNT is one of Nick's biggest cash cows now and does well with the audience.
-Nick extends up to 9pm Mon-Wed and up to 10pm Fridays (again). CN will be losing its 8pm prime hour effective March 31st and it could just be Nick and Disney competing with each other during that hour. Plus, does NaN really need that much time, which a bunch of ended sitcom reruns? Nick's ratings are clearly better than NaN and since a lot of kids are up at 8pm, it would make since for Nick to make an expansion (kinda like what Jetix did to Toon Disney).
-The Thundermans and The Haunted Hathaways share the 7:30pm weeknight slot, as you mentioned.
-Winx Club gets at least one slot, since the frachinse is very popular with girls in the US. Plus, it'll add some variety.
-Nick takes back the 6am hour for a rotating block of cancelled/former Nicktoons (Angry Beavers, Doug, Rocko's Modern Life, Rugrats and even newer ones like Penguins of Madagascar, Monsters vs. Aliens, Back at the Barnyard, etc.) to make Nick fans grin.
-Nick creates an action block for shows like TMNT and LoK for the hardcore fans out there (similar to SLAM!)
I agree with you, Nick's lineup has gotten a bit better than last year, but it isn't perfect yet. Here's some suggestions on how I would run the weekday lineup for Nick.

That would make Nick have an awesome schedule, but the current one is OK for now.

Why is Nickelodeon STILL airing ATV reruns on Saturday night? They must be under contract with Brian Robbins stating that reruns have to be aired or something. On March 15, they are airing two new episodes of The Thundermans (which I think is a great idea) but after those two airings is a repeat of ATV. Wouldn't it be more smart to place a HH repeat there, since that show is going to have literally no repeats that week?

Anyway, Disney is countering TMNT's special with a Spy Kids movie, I don't think those do that well for Disney, so no worries.
