Anyone remember 2009-10 for Disney TVA original series?

Looking at those years, anyone notice how much of a low spot Disney cartoons were in during that time.

With the non-preschool shows they were producing at that time:

• The Replacements and Yin Yang Yo ended on March and April 2009 respectively
• Kick Buttowski was announced in late 2008 but premiered on Disney XD instead of Disney Channel
• Virtually all the animated originals except for Phineas & Ferb were sent to the late-night hours on Disney Channel (aside from The Replacements finishing the last episodes in spring 2009 and The Proud Family from January-February 2009) until they got removed in July 2010
• Phineas & Ferb was Disney Channel's only original animated series between spring 2009 (when The Replacements ended) and fall 2010 (when Fish Hooks premiered), and even then, they moved premieres to Disney XD for season 2 on February 2009 until fall 2010 (coincidentally in time for when Fish Hooks premiered) so Disney Channel didn't even premiere their only original series (and also the only one not stuck in only late-night hours) at the time first between spring 2009 and fall 2010.

With that in mind, what did you all think of just how low Disney Channel was on original animated series during the 2009-10 period? Why were they in such a drought for original series in that time?

My guess is that their live-action stuff was bringing them their highest numbers yet and were second guessing if they even needed more animation, which might of been a reason as to why Phineas and Ferb was airing on Disney XD first during the time (that and they thought it fit the network's tone).

With that in mind, what did you all think of just how low Disney Channel was on original animated series during the 2009-10 period? Why were they in such a drought for original series in that time?

Supposedly, they were planning to stop greenlighting new animated shows outside Playhouse Disney and devote the rest of the channel to stuff like High School Musical and Hannah Montana. I don’t know if this is actually true, but it would explain why there weren’t any new cartoons for so long.
