"The Mighty B!" Season 2 on Nicktoons Talkback

Golly, I hope so! There's still several episodes left to air.

"The Mighty B!" Season 2 on Nicktoons Talkback

I really wish Nickelodeon would change their minds someday. I love Season 1, but Season 2 is even better! Some of the best work in the series was contributed by Skadi creator Katie Rice, who storyboarded "Bee Nice," "Awwww-some!", "Sleepless in San Francisco," "It's B's Party," and "Oh...

"The Mighty B!" Season 2 on Nicktoons Talkback

I just watched the new Mighty B! one-hour special, "Oh, Brother, What Art Thou?", and it's perhaps the most epic episode since "Dragonflies!" I wouldn't be surprised if this episode was intended to be the Season 2 finale! (Ironically, Nicktoons still has more episodes to air!) Anyone reading...

"The Mighty B!" Season 2 on Nicktoons Talkback

Tonight, they premiered "The Bone Identity," which is one of co-creator Erik Wiese's favorite episodes! Storywise, think of it as a dark version of Snoopy Come Home!

    R.I.P. George DiCenzo

Yes! That's where I remember him from the most. (His character's name was Dan Blackhart.) Sad that he passed away. May he rest in peace.

    Burp/fart noises during broadcasts

Oh, God, yes! The best one in the Stoked episode is where Fin prepares to instruct the other girls in a surfing lesson; she then farts loudly when she takes a deep breath, and then proudly says, "Excuuuse me!" I first caught the "farts" on 6teen ("Pillow Talk"), and thought this was a really...

Invader ZIM Returns to Nicktoons - Talkback [March 2010]

So many funny episodes Nick left unproduced. (I read the script for "The Return of Keef", and it had me laughing out loud!) Of course, I have the DVDs as well, so I'm a very happy camper. But it's still sad Nick had to cancel this series, no matter how they justify it.

    Legendary Pictures' "Godzilla" Pre-Release Discussion

As a lifelong Godzilla fan, I'll quote Bessie Higgenbottom: AWWESHOME!!! Hopefully, Legendary will make Godzilla more like Godzilla than Devlin & Emmerich's travesty from 12 years ago. That was not Godzilla. (Toho won't allow anything like that to happen again.) After seeing Where the Wild...

Invader ZIM Returns to Nicktoons - Talkback [March 2010]

I, too, would love to see ZIM on Adult Swim (it would be perfectly at home there), but that'll never happen. Nick will never give up the show, seeing too late as how it has a huge following. (Viacom and Time-Warner are apparently bitter rivals.)

    New Nick logo font

Precisely. It's definitely customized. The new logo also superficially recalls the very first Nick logo, if you can find that.

DBZ Kai and New Voltron Headed to Nicktoons

OK, I did not expect a new Voltron series, so that really came out of nowhere. Did World Events get the okay from Toei, considering the legal disputes over production rights? Voltron: The Third Dimension got them in trouble, as did the announcement to produce a movie. Either way, although I...

Invader ZIM Returns to Nicktoons - Talkback [March 2010]

That's about the size of it. And I'm sure there is no dead body! It's Jhonen's trademark weird goth humor, mixing that and all sorts of over-the-top stuff into his real-life experiences. And he does this in interviews, too. He's just awesome at that. :) If you've ever read his comic-book...

My Life as a Teenage Robot Film in development

Sometimes, Nick itself will try to justify it with a different story. (After all, touting to the public that they weren't pleased with the show's tone is the last thing they'd want to do.) All kinds of stories will come out of the different horses' mouths from behind the scenes. But we do know...

    Rejected Nick Pilot: the Modifyers

    I'll remember that, thank you.

    Rejected Nick Pilot: the Modifyers

And that's exactly why I'm suspicious of today's network execs! (Not just about the recent shakeup in cartoon-specialized networks, but possibly the current economy as well.) Just like The Mighty B! did, The Modifyers could have that very same PPG appeal, and do well with both males and...
