    I just noticed that Baby Chipmunk in the recently released Baby Lemmings cartoon (ｔａｂｏｄｉ) looks (and even kinda sounds) a little bit too much like Sandy Cheeks from SpongeBob SquarePants.

    I don't think WBD has an actual Nordic kids' PR and marketing team at all anymore. That might be partially why The Wonderfully Weird World of Gumball and Regular Show: The Lost Tapes have never been chart-toppers on HBO Max in Denmark, despite being fully dubbed and readily available.

    I'm genuinely surprised that Battle for Dream Island (which for many years was basically banned from having a Wikipedia article) somehow now finally has an actual article on that wiki, with real sources and stuff! And before Grand Theft Auto VI's release nonetheless!

    And no, I am not currently a member of the object show community either. I used to be passionately part of it between 2012 and 2013, but I grew out of it completely in 2013 and never ever returned.

    It got a lot of actual sources after TPOT 20 [TPOT is Season 5, splitting off from Season 4A] premiered in theaters. Since then, BFDIA 23 [They revived BFDIA after 10 years in 2023], TPOT 21, and BFDIA 25 [the BFDIA finale] have also released in theaters.

    No—only Danish and English.

    I do however live with relatives who speak Somali (it's called Somali, not "Somalian") on a daily basis.

    And I've been exposed to the Arabic language a lot more than you'd expect, thanks to free-to-air satellite TV channels in childhood (and my mom regularly watches random Arabic-language YouTube slop on her phone).

    We currently don't have any linear TV at all at home.

    I have borrowed the Tom and Jerry: Once Upon a Tomcat DVD from the local library.

    This official Tom and Jerry DVD includes the Mouseketeer theatrical shorts "The Two Mouseketeers" (the one where Tom gets beheaded by the guillotine and we're somehow supposed to think that Jerry and Nibbles are the good guys in the end), "Touché, Pussy Cat!" and "Royal Cat Nap", plus a bunch of other shorts too.

    There's English audio and subtitles, dubbing and subtitles in Danish, Swedish, Norwegian and Finnish, and also Russian subtitles and dubbing/voice-over (yeah, this official DVD release uses a Russian-language voice-over instead of a proper dub for some theatrical shorts). Plus, subtitles in Arabic, Croatian and Slovene.

    I think the Danish, Swedish, Norwegian and Finnish dubs of the T&J theatrical dubs produced for the official Warner Bros. DVDs were in fact used when the theatrical shorts used to be available on HBO Max in Nordic countries.

    They do use the preexisting Danish, Swedish, Norwegian and Russian dubs of Tom and Jerry Tales (the same ones that have aired on Boomerang in the past, in fact) for the shorts "Fire-Breathing Tom Cat", "Medieval Menace" and "The Itch". No Finnish dub seems to be available for these specific shorts, however.

    I saw The Super Mario Galaxy Movie in its entirety today (all the way to the very final post-credits scene). The screening I attended was in English with Danish subtitles (though the movie is also being screened with a Danish dub as well in Denmark).

    I recommend it if you're a fan of the Super Mario franchise!

    And yes, I was somehow the only person in the movie theater who didn't leave after the mid-credits scene. I actually stayed for even the post-credits scene.

    And I was not disappointed by what I saw in said post-credits scene, which is definitely going to pop up in a third Mario movie for sure.

    The "Scoobynatural" episode of Supernatural and that one infamous Velma TV show literally being the only Scooby-Doo things left on HBO Max in Europe is incredibly bizarre and makes no sense to me.

    I have a feeling that it will be the same here when HBO Max launches in the UK and Ireland, despite Scooby-Doo being very popular in the UK (and What's New, Scooby-Doo? had returned to CBBC recently as well).

    Do you know exactly when Pound Puppies (2010) premiered in the Nordics on Cartoon Network? All i could find is that it released in 2011, but not a specific month or even day.

    I don't know, but probably in the summer of 2011. Besides, I don't think it aired all too often on CN Nordic either.

    I'm not the guy you're asking, but there was a dub of Xiaolin Showdown, but none for Chronicles. Showdown's dub aired on Cartoon Network Scandinavia and TV2.

    The Norwegian dubbing wiki has a page for Xiaolin Chronicles that states the show aired on Cartoon Network in Norway, which seems to imply that a Danish dub might exist (since Cartoon Network dubs pretty much everything into Danish, Swedish and Norwegian simultaneously).

    After the Warner Bros. Discovery split is completed, Discovery Global might end up being left without a streaming service in Denmark, Finland, the Netherlands, Spain and Brazil, countries where discovery+ was closed down in favor of WBD doubling-down on HBO Max (which will be with Warner Bros. after the split).

    Therefore, I believe that discovery+ should be relaunched in these five countries post-split.

    Does anybody even know the real reason why Cartoon Network in the United States is taking so absurdly long to release We Baby Bears season 2 episodes that have already finished airing elsewhere in the world (DUBBED INTO MULTIPLE LANGUAGES), despite the show literally being produced in the United States to begin with?

    Not even the Ben 10 reboot took this long to release in the U.S.!

    That, or maybe We Baby Bears was quietly canceled after just two seasons, and the delayed release schedule is primarily to hide such an unannounced cancelation.
