It seems like Seth Kearsley might be doing something for Marvel. He's worked on projects like Family Guy, Phineas And Ferb, Scooby Doo Mystery Incorporated, DC Superhero Girls 2015, Trollstopia, and Batbie Mysteries.

Except it's not adapting the Age of Apocalypse story line like season two of Wolverine and the X-Men was suppose to do before it got canceled.

I know you posted this over a year ago, but it caught my eye and I wanted to respond... Apparently, AoA was the plan for season 3 of X-Men '97 prior to Beau DeMayo's departure. It's such a shame that we aren't going to see that. If the powers-that-be didn't want to have that be part of the new show, then that likely also rules out seeing it in any W&tX revival (which is a highly unlikely thing to happen in any event, since that show wasn't as well-known or respected as X-Men: TAS).

Note that X-Men '97 season 2 isn't listed for next month, at least not yet. Not sure if they're preparing a separate announcement for it or it's set for July or later.
