Will linear television be an extinct business by the end of the decade?

The Amazing Digital Circus runs circles around the big three (CN, Disney and Nick) in terms of popularity with kids.

But the thing is, the Big 3 can't greenlight their own Amazing Digital Circus because the things that make it popular spit in the face of their conventional wisdom of what a cartoon should be.

- It can't star adults (the youngest TADC character is a young adult)
- A female lead will scare away boys (hello, Pomni)
- LGBT+ rep will cut off overseas markets (looking at you, Zooble)
- Envelope-pushing is out. Shows have to be squeaky clean (TADC's barely-censored profanities)
- Shows can't be scary. (TADC's stuffed with nightmare fuel)
- Showss must be episodic and continuty-free. (You'll be lost if you join TADC in medas res.)

So they're stuck coasting on the diminishing returns of Spongebob, Teen Titans Go, and Phineas and Ferb for as long as cable companies are willing to pay the carriage fees.

Don't forget censorship of taboo and trivial topics in certain regions. Trivial topics include how CN PT cut off an earthquake scene in a Doraemon movie.

That's what did in Steven Universe. The creators wanted to push LGBT rep in ways that made it hard to air in overseas markets. The Ruby and Sapphire wedding was the straw that broke the camel's back.

Infintiy Train was done in because a season was supposed to star an adult going through adult problems,

Infinity Train would have printed money as an Adult Swim show.

Adult Swim only worked in streaming in certain markets because of markets where mature content on kids channels is taboo

In Latin America it is a linear channel and it did great there.

But it's already showing warning signs such as the inclusion of infomercial blocks. It was like that months ago.
What do you mean infomercial blocks? When it started it showed informecials of fake products. Like a parody? Or did they really show infomercials?

Even channels like Sony Channel and Film&Arts air infomercals here and there. I think it's a normal thing in LATAM?

They really aired legit infomercials. The channel was created under the former Discovery wing, several of its channels aired infomercials. The channels from the Turner wing don't.

Can you name any products they sold?

No wonder I didnt see those, they are in Argentina and Chile. But you were right and I apologize.

TeVe Compras's informercials are everywhere in LATAM, Adult Swim isn't the only one.
Like I said, the Sony channels and the AMC channels also have them. It's normal.

There's something about seeing kids cry after they mess up big time that really gets to me. One can definitely feel bad for Layla.
I don't know I gonna post it but i think I may had spread the disney abandoning blue sky studios like they did with fox kids/jetix propaganda onto awinger24 and now hes fears of paramount & warner bros
Europeans right now are experiencing the same Heatwave that africans face on a daily basis lol
