Chalamet teased a "new movie announcement" on his Instagram story over the weekend ahead of the news out of the Annecy International Animation Film Festival.

April 16, 2027 will see the release of a new Illumination movie, Not Alone. It stars Timothee Chalamet and Selena Gomez.

The poster is intriguing, but from the second half of the film's synopsis I have the strange feeling the colorful aliens might be the Minions of this movie. I might be wrong.

Credit where it's due, this seems a lot more interesting than anything else Illumination has made in the past 15 years of its existence. If you told me the premise without context, I'd probably guess it was from DreamWorks or even Pixar.
