I think restriction on what could be advertised to kids also help contribute to the end of weekday network television show for kids. I think the biggest hope for a new block would be local digital subchannels looking for content.
This show has real problems. The last episode showed Richard to be a buffoon so there is nothing redeeming about his character. The other secondary characters are good, but they are overwhelmed by two unlikable leads.
Having two jerks on the show with one of them being the lead is a really bad idea. They are not even fun jerks as they come off as bullies half the time. There are some characters and moments that stand out, but the general attitude needs a big shift.
I have enjoyed the beginning of the new season. I think they have shown the threats that are coming, but the buildup they are doing is nice. After Japan, the last series really went off the wheels. This series look like it is going back to its base.
I enjoyed the episode a lot. I liked the design of the Joker, but the voice needs some work. Or at least the dialog needs work. My problem was The Joker was not really sinster, and he wasn't really funny.
I am sure you will find a lot of people who will agree, but I have to say I thought his work in Second Coming was pretty good. I do have to say his work is generally a bit to static to work for some of the issues he is given to do.
I have no problem with the program. I see nothing wrong with Marvel trying to reach out to entice a new reader. So far I am only picking up the .1 for the titles I was already buying, but I was thinking about picking up a couple more.
Both Avengers Academy and its predecessor Avengers: The Initiative do a good job telling a complete story in one issue while continuing on broader story points.
The Clone Wars continues to be one of the best shows on television. I loved the fight sequence between Count Dokou and the Sisters. The only fault is knowing Dokou was not going to die. I thought the back story on Ventress was a nice insight into the character. This is a great way to start...
I do not hate the book, but I do not like the direction they went with after Japan. I thought they lost their way, and shoehorned in a "Big Bad" when they had a cool concept at the start. I think the series was hurt by not having one writer to tell a coherent story.
For me this show is the Teen Titans show I wanted before, and initially after the previous Teen Titans show came out. This is the Timmverse treatment of these classic characters. I enjoyed the show a lot. My only two gripes were I did not really did the voice for Robin immediately. I am sure...
I liked the episode. The thing I liked that I did not see mentioned was Hank, Dean, and Dermott doing the Team Venture sign which is cool considering the revelation a few episodes ago. I did feel like this would make a good series end epsiode.
I am not reading any of the titles currently, but I was reading Wonder Woman before JMS came aboard. I dropped the book with issue 600 so while it is kind of annoying that Gail Simone's run was interrupted for what turns out to be six issues I am not that upset about it.
I lasted about eight minutes into the show and then I decided this was not going to work for me so I changed the station. I am not really sure what the thought process here was, but it did not make for a funny episode, IMO.
EA may own the ip, but Microsoft mostly likely still has the publishing rights to Mass Effect 1. I highly doubt Microsoft would come out with a statement that strong if they did not have publishing rights for the first game locked up.
I think the premise of this argument is kind of off. Most novels do not make money, they do not sell more than the average comic, and are generally not successful. It would be like asking why can't every comic book character be as successful as Batman. We are in the middle of the most...
Cyclops is the father of Cable and the alternative timeline father of Rachel Summers.
Hulk has another son named Hiro-Kala who is Skaar's twin brother. He is also the alternative timeline father of Lyra.
The price is still cheaper than buying two Move controllers and Navigators. Plus, although it is slightly anecdotal Kinect has been either the number 1 or 2 item in Video Games at Amazon since it was up on the site even at the $150 price. WiiFit cost $99 bucks and millions of people bought that.
The Avengers are a big deal because Marvel made them a big deal. There could have been any number of writers who would have taken the Avengers to where they are now. Marvel needs to take more control of the Avengers away from Bendis. He is not suited to writing those type of stories.
It is a really cool idea for DC to promote Fables because it is already an established long tail product. Super-hero comics could work, but their serial nature does not lend itself to a commercial like this. Fables is essentially a trade series for many people so it makes some sense to promote...
Except that since they read from the book a the end of episodes that means they had something to use to dispose of the poo without Brian eating it. Plus, they had the safety deposit box to put stuff in. The logic does not make a ton of sense.
Agreed. I did pretty much the same thing. I muted much of the second act. The friend I was watching the show with bailed and starting to watch something else. I am not sure why they included the poop stuff. They did not need it. It was not funny. It seemed to only be designed to get a rise...
Digital comics are the future. The Ipad is still to expensive to make a difference, but when devices are available for $200 or less I think we will start to see the tide turning. There are more devices coming in the marketplace that will give consumers choice.
I have over $3000 comics, but...
I do not exactly like the idea. I thought Tony was right during Civil War, and I do not want him to all of a sudden flip to the other side because of this. I would not mind if past Tony does not completely agree with everything he did, but I would like a scene showing him and Steve talking. At...
It makes more sense that she did not do that well so they feel they can cut her without looking too bad that she will be television for weeks wasting any bump in her public profile.
