Broadcast Order: Season 7, Episode 8
Production Order: Season 6, Episode 13

Writers:
Director: Joe Daniello

A new episode airs tonight at 9:30 PM Eastern. Here is the synopsis:

When Steve tries to prove himself as a macho man to Stan, he follows in Roger's footsteps and tries to change himself from the outside in with a superhero persona.

My FOX channel is getting glitchy. Guess I'll watch this onDemand.
Dammit.

The beginning was a little creepy.
Both the movie and Stan's No-Holds-Barred Beatdown.

Oh man, the gags I liked best tonight (the baby-shaking, the petroleum explosion and period party) were so wrong, but I laughed hard anyway. Great episode.

Who else but Quagmire?

o.O
that ending
quagmire is pulling double duty tonight

Great episode :anime:
My favorite parts are Japanese Recall Cards, Petroleum Explosion,The Party, and Quagmire cameo XD

What?! Quagmire on American Dad? Isn't AD not part of the Family Guy universe? I can understand the cameos on FG, but this is the first well a FG character on AD.

So, Steve's Kick-Butt in this episode? For those who don't know who I'm talking about here, Marvel Comics sister imprint Icon did a ultra adult comic called Kick-*** by Mark Millar. It was turned into a great movie with Nick Cage as Big Daddy. The Sequel comic is ending in Feb of this year.

What's next, a real crossover with all three Seth shows...finally?

They showed Stan and his boss in one episode of Family Guy. There was also that small cross-over at the end of American Dad's hurricane episode and I believe the Star Wars specials of Family Guy added a few cameos from American Dad.

There was a Brian cameo a season or two ago when Stan runs down his favorite "fictional dogs" however that also hinted that American Dan might take place in a different universe and that maybe Family Guy was a show in the world.

However even if there was no "real" cross over in it besides the gag at the end the Hurricane three parter IMO confirmed that yes American Dad is in the same universe as the other two shows.

And in this season of American Dad!, in the episode "The Worst Stan" we see Roger & Steve watching Family Guy on a laptop and saying how unrealistic that show is.

Ah Roger, can always count on him for a selfish backstab. Francine was pretty funny in this, I loved when she threw Steve out of the bathroom. For some reason I found the bird in that car to be hilarious, even when it blew up.

Who else but Quagmire?

I thought the exact same thing during the reveal.

Maybe Baby.

As someone who's Portuguese, it just bugs me again that we lost. I wanted Portugal to win this time because this is Ronaldo's last, but no, we think Ronaldo has devolved significantly, and we lost against Spain.
