Angela Anaconda

One of my favorite shows on Fox Family was Angela Anaconda. It was great. Then after two months after ABC took over it was cancelled. I was wondering, since Cartoon Network aquirred Totally Spies, could the get this show as well?

It barely passes as a cartoon at all. It also barely passes as watchable. I'd rather this toon just be forgotten... the fact that it somehow got saved by FOX Family to begin with, when it used to just be a series of lame interstitials, amazes me.

I thought the show was somewhat enjoyable, but that was when it first started out. Why did they put an Angela Anaconda short in front of the Digimon movie(s)? The movie(s) could've stood alone, or if they wanted to release them in their entirety, why didn't they just put them on regular TV?

(I've seen the first 3 fansubbed, and there are major differences, as you would expect when they usually bring anime to the States)

My God, did it get old real fast.

I liked it, but I'm one of six people on Earth to have done so. I wasn't a fan or anything. I won't miss it. But it was funny. The shorts were the best.

Well, the shorts were on KABLAM!, but FOX Family is the one that picked it up as a series. So NICK's never aired the show.

It was a rip off of South Park. The two shorts that were on Kablam don't even look like the series. But it wasn't the only bad thing on Fox Family let's not forget the Mega Babies, they were sicker then Ren & Stimpy, South Park & any other sick cartoon. They were a rip off of the PowerPuff Girls, at least when the girls fight someone there still alive. Any way CTN would'nt give a rat's a** about those shows.

South Park was around before it came to Comedy Central. They showed shorts on HBO of it before CC picked it up. I think they had two shorts.

Angela Anaconda wasn't a bad cartoon. I actually enjoyed it. I didn't really like the animation, but the show itself wasn't that bad. Then again I also enjoyed Reign so what do I know.

Angela was ok.. only because she constantly got Dissed by Nannette...I didn't like Angela anyhow.. She looked like the rat poo undergrowth of inbreeding wearing a bad haircut...

Sniz and Fondue TRULY deserved it's own show, with maybe a little drawing style upgrade.

The show was pretty obnoxious in many ways, but the writing is what saved it, IMHO-- which is why the shorts are the best, they just had Angela's rambling revenge against Nanette, without too much of a plot.

And how is it a ripoff of South Park? They're both papermated (graah, I hate made-up words), but that's it. And the animation wasn't the same thing-- AA had creepy photorealistic heads and weird floaty bodies, while South Park is just made up of simple choppy shapes for the most part.
