It's time to head back to the DANGER ZONE(!!!) with Archer, Lana, Malory, and the rest of ISIS.
The new season starts tonight at 10PM.

Episode 4.01:"Fugue and Riffs"
Archer has amnesia and decides the only cure is a spa weekend.

HOLY **** Snacks!
Not even 10 seconds and we already start with something awesome!

It was a LONG almost 10 months without this show; glad to have it back. Loved the fun yet brief Bob's Burgers crossover.

That ostrich scene at the end freaked me out. I swear I've had a similar occurrence happen to me.

What a great episode, though! That is how you do a crossover.

The kids really should have talked. They were just standing around for far too long, saying nothing. Louise would have been all over that crime scene. Anyway, I only started watching Archer last year, and even then have only watched about a dozen episodes, but I liked what I saw. If the network would actually air re-runs, maybe I could catch up on the ones that I've missed, but they don't seem to like showing older episodes.

Oh my God, they put the Bob's Burger crossover. I wish the kids did talk (like Huntsman said, Louise would be excited over the KGB incident), but I'm happy in any case. Great opener and though it doesn't have the oomph of Season Three's beginning trilogy, it's a nice, funny standalone. Also ostriches.

But what happened to the real Bob? Doubt it'll be explained, but wouldn't it be kind of cool if that actually was a latter episode plot?

Never watched Bob's Burger before so that joke did nothing for me. Other than that though this was pretty solid episode. Archer kicking major ass in the opening scene was really fun to watch.

New episode on now!

Episode 4.02:"The Wind Cries Mary"
Archer and his former best friend are holed up in the Vermont wilderness.

Regarding the latest episode: I just wish the writers didn't use "gay" in a way that comes off negatively to actual LGBT people - I know humor is subjective, but that kind of annoyed me a bit...

Otherwise, this episode was alright, so no other issues there. It is true what they say about espionage: you can only have so many friends on your side before they become your enemies...

The ending. Oh dear GOD the ending. Their faces they make is absolutely priceless.

Last week's episode left me a little lukewarm, the ending aside, but this was a massive step-up.

Nearly everything that makes the show work, in particular it's fun with continuity and characters, was present here. Giving Ray his legs back was another plus, since his presence on the field was missed since the start of season 3. I'm hoping to see him out there with Archer, Lana and Cyril now.

This episode is perfection and it's now become one of my personal favorite Archer episodes. Every character is used to their fullest and the constant screw ups they administer is not only laugh out loud funny (especially with Malory's husband trying his best to coax her away on a cruise), but probably some of the most insane, off-the-wall shenanigans they've pulled yet. Kreiger and Pam especially take the cake because their unprofessional behavior and sheer level of ignorance during Ray's surgery is so over the top that it ends up ridiculously hilarious instead of horrifying.

It's nice to see Ray get his legs back, though I wonder if this means Cyril is back on his old job. I hope not because I like the idea that he'd slowly grow to be a decent field agent, but hey.

Thus far ep 3 as been my favorite of the season, but the more I watch it the more I wish the magic bullet had been in another ep where it could've been a stronger B plot instead of fighting for space in an already strong A plot

"Disturbingly sexy high heels." LOL

The whole "Archer being in Canada" thing made me think: Wasn't the ISIS gang barred from Canada in that previous episode? Maybe Archer used a disguise to get in and/or his passport was falsified information, so not having one was even more bad when getting over the Canadian/U.S. border.

Also, LOL at the line of people needing to use the telephone booth, in this day and age of cell phones. You gotta love this show's fondness for archaic technology.

Episode 4.05:"Viscous Coupling"
Archer's former fiancée wants him to save her cyborg boyfriend who is trapped in outer space.

Sounds like our two favorite robo-characters are back.

So it looks like Lana and Cyril are back. Because the world needed them to be.

The stuff with Archer and Katya was pretty good, if wholly depressing. Katya never had much of a chance to become as well-rounded of a character as the Isis cast, but I can still feel the connection she and Archer had when she was alive, and it's sad to see how he still loves her despite the feeling no longer be mutual. What's even worse is that you know that she will be back, but not in what circumstance.

Here's a fun article I wrote on why Ruby and Jade from Sofia The First are good characters.
Okay hear me out, Isn't it kind of crazy how CN never thought about doing a Kids Next Door x Teen Titans OG crossover back in the 2000s? There's five members of Sector V, five titans, and they both have super cool HQs. I'm telling you guys, a TT and KND crossover would've been so epic!
Watched the live-action "Moana" today and felt nothing that special compared to the original 2016 film. In fact, I don't remember much from the first animated film, but I think they barely changed anything in the 2026 version
