I would say yes, they are that bad. The exceptions to this are Harvey Beaks and The Loud House. The two don't interest me, but if Nick does more stuff like those two, Nicktoons will see renaissance. And I definitely hope that happens.
That's your opinion and there's nothing wrong with it nor do I have anything against you, but the general consensus is that the show is ugly to no end.As far as I em concerned, the art of Pig Goat Banana Cricket is beautiful
The only thing that will make me regain faith in Nick at this point is if they gave Invader Zim a regular airing time again.I would say yes, they are that bad. There is no such thing as a ''general consensus'' about the art style of a cartoon.the general consensus is that the show is ugly to no end.

Maybe on Nicktoons, but they won't do that on the main network. Once a show has ended/been cancelled, you can air reruns of it still for a couple more years, depending on how popular the show was, but after that networks prefer to move on to their more current shows. That's why stuff like The Splat exist to air those old reruns.
No, but there is the general consensus about a cartoon and the art style is part of it. It's one thing to have a good show with bad art (Jimmy Neutron would be a personal example) but I've heard at least 5 people who wanted to throw up while watching the show.I kinda agree with SaneMan. Pig Goat Banana Cricket has some decent art style, and I think it's pretty original.
I don't like its humor, though.

I literally had to throw up during Chowder, but that doesn't make it bad art. Chowder's just a bit vertiginous...No, but there is the general consensus about a cartoon and the art style is part of it. No, none of those particular pictures make sickening, but the colors are noticeably dull. Perhaps a better example would be the intro of the show.I literally had to throw up during Chowder, but that doesn't make it bad art. Chowder's just a bit vertiginous...

At we can agree on something; the bad writing.PGBC - Damn good artstyle, but a huge victim of bad writing, in my honest opinion. Still, that's some gorgeous art we got here, mate.

How is it ANY worse than Ren & Stimpy or Rocko's Modern Life?Ya I'm on the "it's ugly" side of things, I really don't like calling a bit of animation ugly, but man PGBC's art style makes my stomach churn. And not just the gross-out bits, but just average bits of the show. Everything looks like it's melting in a microwave. I really don't know how to explain it that well, sorry, but PGBC is just not a pleasant show to look at. The last show to make me feel this was was Ren and Stimpy. (And to a lesser extent the Might B!)
