12/9: More alleged character details Bob is forced to bring out Sentry when Yelena is in a "precarious situation," Dr. Strange and Clea investigate incursions and try to figure out how to fix them before the Multiverse collapses, Clint Barton and Rhodey won't appear (former is retired, latter is still in recovery), Bucky is a core player and tries to be mediator between the Avengers and Thunderbolts, Shuri tries to get Namor and the Atlanteans to help, Hayley Atwell will be part of the action, Loki Variant is taking the place of the Beyonders had in the comics, someone sees the effects of the incursions and is "called upon a higher authority for the fight."

Reportedly, Steve Rogers is not suiting up as Cap and Sam will be the featured Captain America.

It makes sense...I mean, whatever your opinion on Sam as Cap, it would be bad narrative sense to just have Steve suit up again and steal all of Sam's thunder. Just having Steve in the movie might do that a bit already though .
