The decision to have Tokyo host the Olympics happened years ago (as in 2013).

Speaking of Olympics, it's odd that someone finally mentions it on this thread, as Tokyo is indeed hosting the Olympics in 2020 (heck, Akira is one reason why I wanted Tokyo to be the host city).

BTW, looks like one of the digital editors is a brony. Speaking of MLP, since I'll probably be in bed when said scene airs: *BEEP* it, M. A. Larson (it's in reference to the OTHER major MLP premiere of the day).
