Gundam: Iron-Blooded Orphans #1:
McGillis: Well, whether we like it or not, Earth Sphere’s economy depends on that used-up colony. To succeed, it’s imperative that they continue making significant contributions. So it’s of utmost importance that the Mars branch clean up their act and become proud members of Gjallarhorn, the true keepers of the world order.
Gaelio: I kind of fell bad for those guys down there.
McGillis: The push for independence is spreading across Mars at an alarming pace. Before much longer, we may be too busy to worry about anybody else.

Orga: Anyway, Third Group doesn’t mean crap here. They either smack us for a few laughs, or use us as human shields. But I won’t let ‘em take away my pride. I can’t show any weakness.
Man: To Mikazuki, you mean? It must be tough, Captain.

McGillis: The Ahab Reactor creates the kind of energy that not only powers the ship, but also makes it possible to sustain life in space. We have no choice but to ignore some of the downsides.
Gaelio: But that’s the very reason why Earth has trouble seeing this far. It only makes more work for us Inspectors. This practically was the cause of the war 300 years ago, wasn’t it?
McGillis: But it isn’t always easy to let go of a power like that once you obtain it. I suppose it’s human nature. We’ll stop at nothing, even if it’s a power that can destroy us all.


Hunter x Hunter #7:
Netero: I had originally planned to make my appearance during the exam’s final phase. But, well, seeing as how I’m already here… I have to admit, there’s nothing I love more than this feeling of tension in the air. So, I think I’ll stick around for the remainder of the trip. Ha ha ha!

Satotz: Though it pains me to admit this, I feel we are all birds of a feather with him. But his affinity for darkness is infinitely stronger than ours. We Hunters, as you know, are constantly seeking out new rivals. And the Hunter Exam has no shortage of opponents, each perfectly qualified and worthy of respect. And every now and then, in our searches, we encounter someone… someone who chooses to surge forward when you or I would opt for the brakes. An anomaly of sorts.


Samaurai Champloo #22:
