I believe it's:

Wednesday: Camping Out
Thursday: Something to Do

Monday (:() : Playhouse for Sale

Oki Doki rules.

Gamera, Gamera,
Gamera is really neat.
Gamera is filled with meat.
We’ve been eating Gamera. :anime:

*just as a side note-this is actually the first WB cartoon (not counting the Bosko pilot)

"Sinkin (or is it singing) in the Bathtub" 1931 by Harman and Ising

WOW...are we through with the series already??

Feels like it just started yesterday.

*gasps* Bosko's naked!! O_o

And his girl jumped out of her skirt!

That Gamera thing was weird, but funny. Loved Pee Wee cracking up at that origami egg he made.

For once I agree with Randy, water IS a lousy snack!

Oh, just wait until you see the MST3K episodes in which Joel, Tom, and Crow watch the Gamera movies. :anime:

Does anyone have any information about that old stop motion short with the magician they showed?

Please tell me this will be off the air when the run is over.

Last night, at the Playhouse...

Mrs. Rene (only one 'e' at the end? But that's a male name! Come to think of it, are we sure she's a she, not that there's anything wrong with that) filled in for an indisposed Pee-Wee at taking a call from Cowboy Curtis and getting the secret word from Conky (and she set up both Cowboy and Pee-Wee beautifully, too). She then filled in for the erstwhile Reba in giving Pee-Wee the mail. Her work there then done, she left.

Then the night got an early start at Japanese content as the letter turned out to be from an overseas pal, Oki Doki. Globey detailed his own trip to Japan, and then Oki showed up, amid a stop-motion animation classic from south of the Rio, it looked like (Huespar something? Eh, you taped it, you can dogpile or google or whatever it). Oki showed a clip from Gamera vs. Rodan (I think), then introduced Pee-Wee to origami. Pee-Wee went severely overboard in spazzing, and an understandably creeped-out Oki took his leave. Another Playhouse pal-ship bites the dust.

With no setup whatsoever, suddenly the Playhouse gang was playing charades with Miss Yvonne, which led into a clip from the very first Warner Brothers / Leon Schlesinger / Harman-Ising / Bosko cartoon. That was pretty much it, as what happened after the toon was apparently not worth the trouble for me to remember it.

Comments? Well, you could tell it was near the end. Pee-Wee lost it re. his 'egg', coming off like a sad man with troubles that were about to catch up with him in a big way. More & more dependence on cartoons and other clips, which I like, but there's Cartoon Planet for that. And Miss Yvonne's decolletage, hoo boy! Good luck keeping your mind out of the gutter during that segment; I really tried to, and hopefully succeeded. I can see how this show got to AS, but how did they get away with it on CBS Saturday mornings? Oh well. By now the King of Cartoons had apparently left the show, following Reba the mail lady who hasn't been seen since the Valentine's Day episode (I guess that first date led to so much more). And Cowboy Curtis literally phoned in his part; yes, I had to say it.

Almost as scary as Mr. B Natural.

Ricardo!

Since when does Clocky have the power to advance time at super speed?

...

"Mmmm... Bally!"
"Mmmm... Nutty!"

Black and White cinderalla looked like a clip from the mickey mouse club (was that annette funicello?)

I know this has been said many many times before.....but what was wrong with the KOC today? Was he high? Did he come from a midnight screening of Blacula?

(And in the disturbing news of the day-did anyone else notice Globy's slight moan when the KOC touched him)

***Today we got part 2 of "Freddy the Freshman"

Man, talk about your MST3K, that short was just like something they'd watch. I liked the part where that kid with the accent was right in the middle of a sentence and the fairy forced him to participate. That's the way to do it!

He's done it before, like the time Pee Wee planted that seed and Clocky sped up time to make it grow.

Was it just me or was that secondary secret word a rip-off? Did they even say "No" any time other than the demonstration?

As someone who's Portuguese, it just bugs me again that we lost. I wanted Portugal to win this time because this is Ronaldo's last, but no, we think Ronaldo has devolved significantly, and we lost against Spain.
