The last one reached over 500 posts, which means its time for a new thread looking at CN's ratings. And right before summer comes along.

Maybe LoE is finnnaly finding an audience.

What?? No past ratings?
Anyways, I wonder how low Cartoon Network's ratings would be if they showed Pre-school shows.

Funny thing is: its competitors air a bunch of preschool shows and beat CN. CN tries preschool shows, and they utter fail. Then those preschool shows go to other networks and succeed.

Well, considering Cartoon Network airs adult content late at night, parents probably don't feel as comfortable letting their kids watch Cartoon Network as they would the other kid's stations.

You've GOT to be joking.

You've GOT to be joking.

No, I'm not joking. There was a thread on the Adult Swim board a few weeks ago that discussed how a woman wrote on her blog that she was put her kid in front of the television to watch Cartoon Network and was shocked to discover that there was an adult cartoon on. Of course, the blog post was actually over a year old.

CN did much better last Saturday. George of the Jungle almost tied with the 7:30 showing of Jimmy Neutron.

Yeah, wouldn't surprise me if this is the last season of Transformers: Animated. For the past two weeks, there has been a dip in ratings when it airs.

The Cable Top 20

Tom And Jerry: Blast Off To Mars [Sunday, 9:00am] - 1,631

...how pleasantly random. I don't like the movie too much, but if it means CN would pay more attention to Tom and Jerry (or more of their older shows) than I'll take it.

The Total Drama Island marathon did well for CN:

Cartoon Network’s Memorial Day weekend marathon featuring back-to-back episodes of Total Drama Island(Sunday, 12 p.m. - 7 p.m.) earned double-digit increases among several key demos compared to the same week last year. Overall kids 2-11 delivery (513,000) grew by 20%, kids 6-11 delivery (404,000) by 33% and kids 9-14 (348,000) by 47%. Total Drama Islandis the popular animated reality series that follows a group of spirited teen competing for a $100,000 grand prize.

I have a pretty good feeling CN is going to be #1 on June 11, at least in primetime...

I guess that kids love their Tom and Jerry, which is awesome. :)
