Since I'm a big Spider-Man and Batman fan (mainly cartoons) amoung other things. I was wondering what type of stuff do you collect...I collect action figure and other memorbilia. Here are my collections:

In order from greatest to smallest-

1. Spider-Man (and Marvel characters)
2. Batman (and Superman/DC characters)
3. X-Men
4. Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (original series)
5. the Real Ghostbusters
6. Bruce Campbell/Sam Raimi (AoD, Hercules, Xena, etc)
7. Star Trek
8. the Simpsons
9. He-Man and the Masters of the Universe (original series)

rarest items (guess)
-Mego Spider-Man (near-mint)
-Spider-Man stuff animal from 70s (got a flee market for $7)

oddest items
-Batman marbles
-unknown Spider-Man grabber (small) (mom found at library)
-Ninja Turtles tissues in the boxes
-Batman shoelaces

My own personal "collection" is kind of unique in its own right, because it's so random and atypical. But here it is anyway:

1] Jack Nicholson Movies
(just about all on VHS but a few on DVD)
2] Meryl Streep Movies
(just about all on VHS but a few on DVD)
3] Stanley Kubrick Movies
(all on DVD and VHS)
4] Music / CDs
(own somewhere between 200-300 and consists of many different artists/genres of past/present eras)
5] Magneto action figures
(some are different sizes)
6] Star Trek: The Next Generation
(many of the episodes on VHS, proud to say all of the Q episodes are there)

I collect flyers believe it or not, you can't walk an inch in Midtown Manhattan without getting a flyer for something, I take them and put them up on my wall.

I collect a lot of toys, not really collect just buy them:

I collect Hess trucks, got every Hess truck ever, and have the original with the more recent ones.

I have a lot of action figures, a lot in my attic and closet, some went to charity here is what I have on display in my room:

That's about it. Basically I collect a lot of weird stuff, mostly for nostalgia and because I can never throw anything out.

I used to collect Turtles action figures but I sold them all. What I collect nowadays:

At various times in the past, I have collected a few things:

• Around the mid to late 1990s, I collected coins for a few years, but the low price limits I had at the time make that boring to look back on.
• I collected business cards when I was 4 to 7 years old, obviously caring very little about most of the businesses. I somehow got over 600 different ones.
• I collected another kind of card a few years ago. In some sections, that collection is complete, but in other areas, it is almost nonexistent.
• There were many smaller collections that are not as memorable to me.

Nowadays, I only collect cartoons, but even that seems to be fading. I go through phases with amount of cartoon collecting, though.
