The purpose of this thread isn’t to make blank statements saying that you compare one character with another character. It’s to actually compare the characters; to explain why you feel that they are similar and what they have in common, or vice versa. The same is true for comparing themes that are present in both animated programs. You don’t need to write essays, but please try to take the time to back up your posts with some degree of reasoning. This applies to everybody.

the both have similar characteristics

nikki and gwen have dyed hair and love sarcasm

the blonds are very similar too kadie and sadie "eeeee!!" just look at them so simalar but with key diffrences that make the not total clones



harold and darth have the "Nerdy but usefull" gene in both shows though harold ids more popular

Now at first glance I'd agree. But while Gwen dresses Goth and does the journal/loner thing. She's more aggressive and far less self destructive. You don't see her banging her head against the counter. Of course Gwen isn't around the Clones all day. Does Gwen even have piercings? Nikki dresses more punk but tends to walk away from confrontation with contempt. I think she uses sarcasm better.

You all know Gwen and Jen are voiced the same person? This is kind of spoilist, but they is just my opinion, not fact, so I guess it is okay, but as the series progressed especially in season 2, Gwen reminds me more of Jen, especially in the more recent episodes of TDA.

As for Gwen not having to spent all day with the Clones, you have a point. Gwen has snapped by Lindsay a couple of times for being a ditz, maybe if she spent more time with those types of people, she might be more like Nikki.

I know a few 6teen/TDI comparisons that reminded me of which I agree with Racattack!Force's,zoombie's & Mesousa's cool choices:

Jude/Owen & Geoff - Both funny party animals.
Nikki/Gwen - Both emo/goth sarcastic hot girls.
Lindsey/Caitlin - Both funny blonde ditzy girls,but Caitlin is smarter though & are friends with the queens of mean.
Wyatt/Trent - Both are cool nice guys that love to play music.
The Clones/Katie & Sadie - Both like to bicker alot & dress alike.
Heather/Tricia - Both are mean nasty witches that are clever/manipulative& have great comeuppances.
Darth/Harold - Both are awesome funny geek boys.
Julie/Beth - Both are geeky girls with love interests,but I like Beth more.
Freaky Lydia/Izzy - I love this comparison which they're both hilarious crazy freaky girls & they crack me up.
Carl/Owen - Both have disgusting smells/belches,but they're funny.
Hunter/Justin - Now this comparison is interesting which they are both evil good-looking handsome boys using their good looks on all the women & they both have dark skin which that episode The Hunted was a pretty funny/good episode.

Great topic Frank,I knew a topic like this would be made because of the two best shows with interesting similarities.

Well one thing Lindsay and Catlin have in common, they were both best friends of the "nasty witches" of their respecitve shows, and were betrayed by those witches Heather and Tricia.

Though in an unintional way, in "Snow Job", Tricia used her evilness in a good way. The one time I approved of her wicked ways and actully smiled at her antics.

Also:

Ron/Chef (Tough, no-nonsense, ex-military guys that everyone's scared to death of, and that are obviosuly based on famous actors (Christopher Walken and Samuel L. Jackson, respectively))

Neither of which has followable military knowledge.

Ron can't tell a sensible war story to save his life.

Chef has gone from a Master Chief, a rather high Navy Non-comm, in Marine fatigues in TDI,,, the other I'll have to add later, wrong section for that.
