DCAU Batman vs superman..who would win ?

Hi guys

I'm a mayor DCAU fan and i love B:TAS S:TAS en JLU and most of others (except the batman )

and i have a question that could be a excuse for a good discussion

If the animated batman had to fight AND kill supeman by anny reason..could he do it ? or would supes spilt his brains all over the street in a matter of seconds ?

think about it...

When isn't Batman prepared though?

Seriously, any time after the day Batman acquired that piece of kryptonite, I'd say he would win. He has planned for the possibility that he might have to fight Superman. I doubt that Superman has ever planned for the possibility that he would need to fight Batman. Superman tends to take things on as they occur rather than plan ahead for something that might never happen.

Batman gets my vote.

I swear, that has got to be the most educated response to this question I have ever heard. Kutos to you! Kutos... to... you...

I'm sick of people thinking Batman could beat Superman. I love Batman and tolerate Superman, but reasonably Batman has no powers, and Superman's virtually indestructable without the use of Kryptonite and/or magic. Even if Batman had a ring of Kryptonite, if Superman knows they're fighting, what good is the ring if Batman can't get to it before being killed?

Honestly, the only one of the DCAU original 7 JL members that could have a shot in hell against Superman is Flash. Not because he's strong, but because he's faster... and as long as he can gab and move, he has a chance. One punch from Superman though and he's done.

Now, if it was Comics-Superman, then I'd have to say he'd definitely win. But in the DCAU, I'd have to say that Superman just has an enormous advantage.

uhhh...batman is always prepared..i saw an opritunity in leagacy..i mean the world is in danger and batman s probably one of the few that could make a difference..it's a shame they didn't use is..but it was S:TAS so its reasonble..my believe is that bats could kick his butt like he did in the issue of hush

Sorry but... How? Batmans an amazing charachter but he is just human. I understand the kryptonite thing but superman has overcame kryptonite many times.

point..still i think he has quite a chance of succeeding. mayB with some help of others. mayB he would not beat him..but simply let him chance his ways by forcing him..besides batman, superman has one fatal weakness..he is still a boy scout !! batman's not..he's all bad..in a good way

If this is a fight to the death, I'd stake my money on Batman. It has been evidenced in many episodes that, with the rare exception of Darksied, Superman isn't willing to do what it takes to put anyone down. Batman, though not a killer, deals in absolution. If Superman did pose a major threat, Batman would do what it takes and there are other ways besides Kryptonite (electricity, magic, red sun) to harm or kill Superman. If Superman breaks his moral restraint, as he did in "Legacy" Batman wouldn't stand a chance.

We'll never really know the answer to any of this. It's all speculation.

I disagree. I think J'onn J'onzz could take Supes.

As for the topic, if Batman was a threat, Superman would definitely incapacitate him. I don't think he'd kill Batman.

Batman wouldn't make such a stupid miscalulation. The point about Batman is he knows Clark better than Clark knows himself. That's Batman's strength; to remain 4 steps ahead of even the largest steamroller.

In the end it's fiction. Batman can beat Superman, Superman can beat Batman. Depends on who tells the story and what outcome they want. How interesting and believable is all that matters. I've seen Superman beaten by some of the most simplest attacks (he always seemed to be falling from the sky, stunned in JL season one), I've seen him so powerful he's like a god - depends on who is writing and to what intent. Likewise with Batman. I've seen a common criminal take him down, and I've seen him take on gods and survive. Depends on the writing.

Your call. There is no definitive answer. Superman has the physical power to make him unstoppable. Batman has the strategic and mental skills to predict your every move until he can make your move HIS move. Just toss a coin. Far easier.
