First we saw Tai and now here the rest of the cast .

Well, that's better than just getting one character revealed at a time. Maybe now they'll actually start releasing pictures of their actual designs and actual information about the series.

I wonder if Mimi will retain the pink hair. Hmm...

Left to right: Joe , TK Kari, Tai, Matt, Sora, Izzy, Mimi . I`m guessing. Can`t wait for more info!

Colleagues,

that silhouette reminds me of persona 3. one can only hope they take cues from that series when it comes to writing.

Sweet!!
A little late to the party but haven't missed the start of the show.
Awesome to see a return to Adventure, figured something was coming ever since I saw an add for new versions of the old digivices except with access to all the mon from the show/1st 2-3 game series.

Well, here we have it:
Digimon Adventure tri.

I think I'm gonna cry...

The art-style actually looks really cool, I do like that even in just the way each character is wearing their uniforms they look different from each other. Now, we wait for the Digimon...

Also, the people working on this project have been revealed:

Director: Keitaro Motonaga
Script Supervisor: Yuuko Kakihara
Art Designer: Atsuya Uki

So it looks like our heros are from Durarara! to me. I am sure there are other series with that look, just saying the first thing that popped to mind.

Uki Atsuya is not 'art designer' (that's backgrounds), he is the character designer. Thankfully, he can actually draw!

Wow, what a difference 15 years can make. I'm actually kind of glad they didn't trip overthemselves trying to mimic the old designs too much. Makes for a cleaner break, gives a better sense that the group has truly grown up at this point.

Finally some actual news that isn't just silhouettes. I like the new character designs. It looks similar enough to their original designs without being exactly like it. It does help to make the characters look older. I guess the title for the new series is Digimon Adventure Tri, which sounds fine to me.

That is a pretty gorgeous poster. The new artstyle, I must admit, will take some getting used to.

As long as it looks better than Crystal, I'm game. I'm just so happy to see some of my favorite characters on the screen again!

Liking the new designs, since it's been so many years. Sora seems to have gotten the best out of it :)

Though there is one thing lacking in the poster, namely the Digimon themselves. This has some worrying the focus is going to be nothing but a typical High School drama. But then again, we don't know much about the series except the poster and the mini-game involving Digieggs. Much like the new Star Wars trailer, the poster is supposed to generate interest.

Good, we don't need Digimon in every episode nor do we need battles in every episode. There's more weight to a series if there, well, more weight to it. You can't get that by cramming a battle of the week into every episode.

Also, that hair. So glorious. I can't wait to see how nobody who can draw provides key animation for the show.

Considering their name is in the title, I think they're going to show up at least every week. After all, they're the foils to the human characters and the catyalist that allows for character development.

And after 15 years, maybe the Digimon could get more characterization too.

Big O tells me different. ;)

If we're lucky this is maybe like 02 except, y'know, better and with the original cast being the important ones.

The third coundown on the official website for the Digimon Adventure 15th anniversary project reached zero on Saturday and revealed the first key visual and staff information. The website also announced the official title for the new anime is Digimon Adventure tri.

Atsuya Uki (Cencoroll) will provide the character designs, Yuuko Kakihara (Heaven's Lost Property) will act as series script supervisor, and Keitaro Motonaga (Rayearth) will direct.

What was Digimon Adventure 02 then, if not without the original cast and a good storyline?

Ignoring stupid things like mind control, of course.

Happy 15th anniversary to Secret Mountain Fort Awesome!

It should've ran for as many seasons and episodes as its post-predecessor Uncle Grandpa did.
I wish Imgur wasn't allowed on this forum until the time is right for a return since it's been unavailable in the UK since last September, so I don't see why people use links from the site for here when it's no longer available in the UK and I'm really angry that their parent company made this stupid decision.
Happy 45th anniversary, MTV.
MeTV Toons is a great channel when it comes to classic cartoons, but we know it can be way better. The Duck4Real (me!) elaborates on this in his latest YouTube vlog. Watch it!

WB has done so well with releasing the Paramount Popeye cartoons on home media that they should be chosen to distribute the long-delayed animated Popeye film that at various points was to be made by Sony and directed by Genndy Tartakovsky (who has a long association with WB sister property Cartoon Network).
