Broadcast Order: Season 10, Episode 6
Production Order: Season 9, Episode 4

Writer: Patrick Meighan
Director: Jerry Langford

A new episode airs tonight at 9 PM Eastern. Here is the synopsis:

Lois cooks a big Thanksgiving dinner and a surprise guest shows up.

I love how frustrated Tom is getting.

Yes. why do we eat so early on Thanksgiving?

I got laugh out of the crab cutaway.

Quadmire's Dad makes a return. That was unexpected.

Haha! Brilliant reference to the Quagmire's Dad episode!

That was suprising. I thought they said they killed off Joe's son because he was uninteresting.

"Old people are wizards in the future." Oh, Mr. West!

The first half was pretty good (oh man, Peter's face during the 'bone removed' gag) but then became rather dull with the back-and-forth argument over obeying orders while everyone makes an attempt to make different conversation in a small, quiet voice.

Nice ending though, even though it would be nice to explore the imposter concept that'll most likely be ignored (possibly a callback to The Simpsons?).

I thought this was a pretty good episode. It sure had a lot of deep moment, yet some funny ones too.

You know, I think they were making an inside joke with that Stewie balloon.

Glad to say that I'm glad this episode ended with a CMOH. I only wish there were more.

I know FG usually hopes that people are like, "this is exactly how me and my friends talk" but that whole discussion regarding the war is exactly what happens with me and my fam whenever we get together.

That last joke...
what?

What is up with Family Guy lately? It seems like the Seth took a que from what people kept complaining about on this board and started developing the characters in a positive light. Between this episode, the one with Quagmire's sister, and Meg's moment they've almost has three straight episodes that had some type of morale and fleshed out characters.

O-chan

Tonight's episode was inspired by an episode of "All in the Family."

Tonight's was not bad, but I was fiddling with a jammed printer while I was watching, so that tells you nothing stood out in my opinion.

Great episode :anime:
My favorite parts are Stewie Balloon,Giant Crab,Old People are wizards, and the cutaway with Cowardly Lion XD

This was a fun episode, a nice mix of comedy and drama. I loved Peter's expression with the boneless chicken gag, the writers having difficulty choosing a cutaway, the big-eyed poor children, duty means poop between Peter and Quagmire, Stewie wondering if he should say something since the camera cut to him....

Good episode.

Awesome/hilarious Thanksgiving episode, this and South Park's were the best Thanksgiving episodes!!!!!

The highlights:
The quarterbacks' musical number.
Tom and the car alarm, hahahahaha.
The giant crab cutaway, hahahahahaha:p:D, so my favorite hilarious cutaway.
The Stewie balloon, hahahahaha.
Nice to see Ida, Carol, and Mayor Adam West, but no Brenda, rats, and Carol/Mayor Adam West are still together, sweet.
Brian/Ida meeting and Stewie's line about Brian finding out, hahahahaha, a nice reference to the Glen's father episode, I'm surprised Glen didn't butt in in their conversation.
Nice to see Kevin which I'm happy that he's alive.
Peter's "dead kid" jokes, hahahahaha.
Spinning head Peter, hahahahaha.
Kevin's flashback and the gay soldier.
Old Mayor Adam West the wizard killing his future great-grandson, hahahahahaha, Mayor Adam West is so epic:p:D.
Drunken Peter bashing on poor Chris, hahahahahaha, it's so hilarious when Peter goes drunken jerkoff mode.
The Tom's terrible pilgrim father joke.
Kevin faking his death and went awol.
The Peter faking his death joke.
Poor Joe arresting Kevin.
Stewie wondering what he's gonna say with the camera cutting to him, hehehe.
The Pretend To Not Know Peoples' Race Day joke.
Kevin's real flashback story on how he faked his death in Iraq and his reason for it was nice.
The writers having difficulty choosing a cutaway, hahahahaha.
The Cowardly Lion/Lindsey Lohan cutaway, hahahahahaha:p:D.
Ida's speech was sweet.
Afro Joe, hahahahaha.
The big sad puppy eyed poor children, hahahahaha.
Nice of Joe to let the poor father go which Kevin was right.
Nice with Joe/Kevin reuniting which was beautiful.
The random imposter Kevin, hahahahahaha.

Scott Grimes(voice of Steve Smith) was great as Kevin Swanson.

I was getting that vibe, to the point where I just think they took an actual AITF script, changed every Vietnam reference to Iraq, plugged in a few tasteless jokes and bang, the work week is over.

No, I didn't like it. I didn't laugh once. Big letdown from last week....
