Fears

Bees. I'm pretty scared of bees, because I always fear they will sting me if I'm anywhere near them. Have been since the first few times I was stung as a child. I think bees are a common thing people have a fear of.

Spiders...

Really freak me out...

Spiders .aka. Arachnophobia - I just can't stand how they look and move and eww! For a while I actually got over my fear (I think) but it quickly came back. The main reason I'm afraid of them is because I think they'll either poison me or crawl into my skin. I don't think they do the skin thing but tell that to my fear.

Heights - Whenever I go to a hospital or psychiatric clinic (don't look so surprised) and look out the window on the higher levels of the building it makes me feel like I'm going to fall. Very scary.

Aliens - I know they aren't real or have not been proven but they creep me out. Not just any alien though, it has to be the traditional big headed, big eyes, green aliens. Anything else really won't bother me.

Elevators (kinda) - My sister is afraid of them and her fear has rubbed off on me a bit. It got me thinking about how the shaft or whatever it's called can fall and when it hots the ground you get injured or worse. I saw somewhere that if you jump at the right time it can save you but jumping to early or too late can be fatal.

Dogs - After one of my sisters was attacked by the family dog and being attacked by that same dog I have a slight fear of them. I don't think many dogs should be domesticated. They can be trained to hate or to just be vicious period. I know one thing though, I'll never let a dog kill me because it's someone's pet. If you threaten my life, it's over Rover.

Never watch a movie called Fire In The Sky.

Never watch a movie called Fire In The Sky.

Seconded. I wasn't even AFRAID of aliens... until that movie showed me that they apparently HATE us! Those were the worst aliens EVER! They were all angry looking and their ship was all dirty and their technology was wicked crude and... oh, don't get me started!

Anyway, I only really have one serious fear. I've wanted to have my own cartoon series on the air since I was twelve, and I'm terrified that when I finally get to do it, executive meddling is going to ruin the show and make producing it the worst experience I've ever had in my life - so awful that I end up never wanting to make another cartoon again. I really don't think I could handle that.

fears are an interesting subject i have some fear rational and one irrational

first the irrational one: i fear everyone i love will leave me, not die but leave me all alone so i try to be everyones friend i don't know but i am getting better on controling my fear when i first a boyfriend i was too needy but i am trying to understand the rules of relationships and how to make them thrive and prosper

now the Rational ones:

crashing in a plane/ ie falling to my death: heights i have nothing to fear from it's inpact that scares me

that is all i can think of

I don't have much fears, trust me, but I don't like bees or wasps. At all. I also don't enjoy riding in conoes or small boats. I can swim, but it feels like a shark or something will get me.

Sometimes when I'm in the SHOWER, it feels like a shark will get me.

Now, that's irrational.

driving over bridges: i just dont like it, i have an irrational fear that somehow the car is gonna go out of control and drive off hte bridge. or that the bridge will collapse.

scorpions: theyre so creepy and nasty, i hate them, especially because they run so fast and theyre so deadly. spiders i can handle cuz i can kill them easily (unless theyre huge).

Spiders, ecspecially those long-legged ones. Also bees. Any kind of bee has me running. I used to be scared of slides too, because when I was little I went down that was really greased up and it was just way to fast for me.

Big spiders - I'm usually not bothered by them when they're outside. But if they're in my house, then we have a problem...

Severe thunderstorms at night - Ever since that tornado that I saw last year, I get a little antsy when we have severe thunderstorms rolling in during nightime hours. Reason being, is because when we do get tornadoes, we're not put under a watch or anything until it actually happens because we have no radar here to detect rotation in thunderstorms. Essentially, a tornado can happen in ANY severe thunderstorm here as far as I'm concerned.

Fires - Ever since I was little, I've developed a little bit of pyrophobia because some teenage boys in a car behind us in a line to see a fireworks show, decided to throw out a firecracker underneath our van, and it lit up red a little bit....and there's also the huge risk of getting trapped by a large grassfire where I live out in the country, we tend to get alot of those every summer. Needless to say, I'm actually more terrified of fire than tornadoes.

What are your phobias?

We all have them and it's kinda good to get it all out in the open. I think that I have a few strange phobias that many other people may not have.

- My bed in my room is up against the wall and I like to sleep with my back facing the wall. If my back is facing the opposite side, I get the feeling that something is going to come and get me from behind. So I sleep with my back facing the wall.

- I do not like to put my head under the shower because it distorts my hearing and temporarily blinds me. Not real blindness but with water and such. And when my face is drenched and I can't open my eyes because of the water, I feel like something is standing outside the shower looking at me. So I wash my head and face really quickly when I'm in the shower.

- For some reason I find it creepy when I do or watch something on the computer and it's taking up most of the screen. Allow me to explain, has anyone here ever played Disney's Toon Town? You know how the whole screen is the game? Well it's kinda creepy to run around with the characters in my face and stuff. Also has anyone heard of the new movie called Orphan? Well if you go to the site you'll see a picture of the girl and the movie trailer. That is fine but after the trailer is finished it blinks to a screen with a bunch of family portraits slowly moving. I cannot stay on that site for more than 15 seconds. I keep thinking some creepy picture is going to pop up or that girl will suddenly appear. This is definitely my strangest phobia.

- I'm not sure if this is a fear or phobia or whatever but I don't like to get small cuts because I think that it'll get infected really quickly. It also just feels weird having a small opening on your finger or arm. I heard somewhere that there's a name for this but I'm not sure if what I was reading was real or not.

Since we had a recent thread of this same topic, I went ahead and merged them.

Rational fears:
Spiders- A very common phobia. The way they look, the way they crawl, the way they spin their freakishly huge webs...everything about them creeps me out.

Heights- Yet another common phobia. Looking down from a rather tall building or the top floors of a parking lot are enough to send shivers down my entire body. I also have a fear that while I'm looking down, someone will accidentally bump into me and cause me to fall. Whooooooshhhh...SPLAT!!!

Oceans- Their gargantuan size and their deepness is what scares me.

Enclosed Spaces- Mainly elevators. Very common.

Darkness- You guys know what I mean. I have a feeling that anything can happen during nighttime or in a dark room.

Irrational fears:
-Whenever I'm at my desk while on the computer (like right now) or writing something down, I always have a strange feeling that someone or something behind me is gonna GET ME. I even have the exact same feeling when I'm in the shower.

-I'm afraid of throwing up. It's as simple as that. Sometimes, when I barf, it feels like it's never going to end, and that I'll just keep barfing until...who knows when?

The Ocean. Their size scares me, and the fact it's hard to see what's below you makes me breathe really heavily. I feel that a shark will bite me (Another big fear) Beaches are okay, but I can't go to far out into them.

Spiders- They just look creepy. ugh

Plane Crash- I always get worried about a flight. I feel it's gonna crash or something. -_-

And I share kind of an odd one with Master Toon. When I'm shampooing in the shower and I stand under it while being blinded, I feel like I'm being watched and I just get creeped out.

Darkness- Just not being able to see what's around you is scary. Especially outside. Blehhhh

Planes- I haven't been on one since I moved here from Costa Rica 11 years ago. I'm moving back in a couple months and I'm afraid that the plane will just fall out of the sky over the ocean. I'm not the best swimmer.

Water-
as stated above,if the water is over 4 feet deep, I'm afraid I'll drown.

Being alone-
If I'm left alone in my my house and there isn't a TV on or something, the slightest noise will scare me out of my mind.

Spiders- Especially daddy long legs spiders.

A thought that makes me shutter is being in a deep pool of water, and slipping on the bottom.

I used to hate planes because I believe they will crash, but now I hate planes because they will crash and you have to give up your soul to ride one (security). Honestly, you shouldn't be harassed for wearing an underwire bra or having gel insoles. I can't imagine taking my shoes off in an airport. THE GERMS!

And Norway's unbeaten streak over Brazil continues thanks to their 2-1 victory that led them qualified to the FIFA World Cup quarterfinals (second round, first round is the round of 16) tonight.
Those doing the pyramid burger on YouTube are doing it wrong. Let it cook until it's well done because I've seen people doing it and trying it before spitting it after realising that it's raw.
I have another theory as for why Johnny Bravo is neglected by CN nowadays. Putting aside the basic concept, it's the retools that made the show chaotic.
I might be the only one who cares but why is Scooby Doo basically unavailable everywhere? Netflix has only Mystery Inc and the two James Gunn movies. Tubi has What's New and Where Are You. Meanwhile HBO Max has basically nothing. I've been itching to watch the classic Scooby Doo direct to video movies lately and they're nowhere to be found outside of purchasing them on sites like YouTube.
Last night started watching a new adult animated series, a Netflix original that is basically the succesor to Big Mouth.

What is so great? Despite being a 18+ show, they actually bothered to give it a Romanian dub :ack::eek:
